Omg yes, so true, the reviews for this were so bad, it was obviously done by people who didnāt even watch it. Iām glad I didnāt let it affect my judgement. IS is one of top xianxia for me. I love it so much! ā¤ļøā¤ļø

I totally understand what you are saying. I also donāt like FLs in dramas that disregard everything in the name of her stubborn love. (Thankfully, for the voiceover where YD says she wonāt make YY chose the world or her and sheāll stand along side him) I also agree I think YD wouldāve just been happy had YY confessed to her in heaven and they both died for love. She didnāt understand nor did the though of the 3 realms come to her mind because sheās always been carefree, she didnāt have such responsibilities. She didnāt understand that the man she loves in responsible for the 3 realms. Just like what happened with XX and TQZ, their love led to thousands of lives lost, they wouldnāt be able to be happy knowing their love was built on the lives of so many innocent lives. It would be even worse in YYās case since 3 realms = heaven, mortal, and demon realms, maybe people donāt realize the weight on YYās shoulders so they think he can just give up on everyone and live happily ever after. (He isnāt the typical God War in xianxia dramas, he is a sovereign lord in charge of the lives of the 3 realms.) That isnāt how it works nor is that the kind of person YY is. For me, thatās like telling your surgeon boyfriend to cancel all his surgeries to go on a date with you.
I understand YD was young before and she didnāt understand, now that sheās had more experiences meeting the people that sheās met, she will understand and will be able to stand with him and support him rather then telling him to choose her. People may think itās unfair to YD that YY canāt choose her first, but you have to understand his position. (Even YD thinking sheāll always be 2nd in his heart) Can you imagine being a surgeon and having your wife asking you to choose between her and the patient?? Like thatās how ridiculous it sounds that he canāt give up the 3 realms for her.
Iām sure that isnāt what YD would want anyways since she cares for everyone, but love is blinding, I guess. Although she has progressed in that sheās willing to let go for her own sake and move on without him instead of being so obsessed. We just have to be patient and wait for the lightbulb moment when she realizes everything, because there's still things she doesn't know that happened. I wouldnāt want YY to just be a mortal to be with YD, I would hope there to be someway to have both where being an Asura Demon Lord or he could be a spirit too.
