I was also confused. She is another transmigrator from the modern time but she's never heard of Beijing. So weird and they didn't elaborate further on her character. She said she was from "A" City, which doesn't exist. Also want to hear someone else's take on her.

That is so heartbreaking. I'm glad they kept her character and gave her a happy ending in the drama! I usually don't like it when movies or dramas stray away from the novel adaptation but in this case I'm glad the storyline was altered for Qiao Lin. Thanks for replying 😊
