We actually did get a vampire BL a looooong time ago (2015). It's called Red Wine in the Dark Night. It stars Fluke. If you decide to watch it, please keep the year of production in mind. lol

I'd like to see some historical BLs though. Thai and Japanese, specifically. I've never seen any Thai historical drama at all, so I'm just curious. Homosexuality and culture is very meticulously documented in Japanese history though, particularly during the Edo-period, so I'd love to see some of that come to life. Imagine a drama about kabuki performer and his wealthy patron (think: Winter Begonia, but in Tokyo instead of Beijing).

I agree. That perpetually late afternoon lighting is what immediately made me think of ITSAY.

Feelings so far:
-I just like to look at this. The set, the lighting, the shots are all well done imo.
-I always get worried when I see more than two couples in a drama because I always feel like one of them gets shortchanged.
-I think Suar is good. I liked him in You Never Eat alone, but I'll be damned if I'm not missing Chap with Tae. Not that Chap/Tae would have better suited these roles in particular together, but I just miss seeing them on screen together.
-The child actors were really good!

I was pleasantly impressed with the first episode, but this quickly went the way of so many Thai BLs which is that of mediocrity. The production quality was good enough though. I wouldn't say "Don't watch this.", but I don't know that I'd recommend it either.

I think I need a break from "just OK" Thai BLs. There are too many being made and too few that deliver.

This drama is meh so far to me, but I’m obsessed with the OST. Jeff Satur’s voice lives in my heart rent-free. 😌

Everyone else has explained about the legality of the separation of the twins etc., but I'm with you in that I feel like, 10 years ago, there was already so much social media around for 11 year olds to be involved in. I think if they were just a few years younger, maybe 7-8 years old, this bit could have could have been accounted for.

A pity I just found this now, but even after just the first episode, I can tell I'm going to be into this one. I already like the way it's tackling bullying. It's involving the stories of all categories of people involved. The best friend who's helpless to save the victim at the moment, other students who are out to do the right thing, the 'rationale' of the bully and why he's being one and, rather surprisingly, those in authority like the teachers and head masters. It's very clearly saying: Look at this. This is a problem for everyone and everyone should be involved in solving it.

What an episode. I thought it would be something more along the lines of a grand misunderstanding than what it turned out to be. Tbh it's a little hard to be so angry toward Pran's mom given the circumstances.

It wouldn't be far off to have a name of a Hindu god in Thailand though. Although most people are Buddhist, a lot of basis of the language comes from Sanskrit/Pali and many Hindu folktales are common in Thailand. Like in En of Love: This is Love Story, the twins are called Praram and Pralak or "Rama" and "Lakshman" (a deity and his brother from the Hindu epic) and of course the regnal names of the past 10 kings of Thailand are also named after the same deity.

If we can continue to get solid 5-7 minute sections of the show with MarkKit being happy and romantic, I'm able to ignore any other faults with the show. lol

Also, the reason why Wayu said "Your name is Thanu but you can't shoot an arrow" is because Thanu or Srithanu is a name for the Hindu god Shiva who has an bow and arrow as one of his weapons.
