Wow. This show is really highly rated, 8.8 is NUTS. I usually just use this site to find new shows, never making…
Well, it's an 8.4 as of now which is the fastest I've ever known a show's rating to drop outside the time of it just recently finished airing (4 points down in just 3 days...wonder how that happened).
I was NOT expecting to see any love scenes between Pob and Leon, but trust me I'm not complaining. I liked the…
I thought I was the only one noticing him carrying!!! I wanted to scream at my TV " Would you like a basket for the ball, bro?!" I'm pretty sure he double-dribbled at one point too, but I digress. lmao
the same way leo and fiat served in tt2, leon and pob are serving in this one. second couples are always the one…
Totally agree with this. I think there's something to be said for slice-of-life, no-problem couples. It is nice to watch shows like that sometimes. It's cute and heart-warming like Ingredients, but with those kinds of relationships, they can get very boring, very quickly because they lack drive or substance, like Oxygen. It's nice that Leon and Pob get along, but they're not all that.
Mame... why? Why? Why? 🙃🤣I am not surprised, and yet still disappointed.
Mame has been dropping the ball in one way or another ever since the end of Love By Chance season 1. Bearing that in mind greatly tempers my disappointment. 🤣
He's so handsome! I think he looks Chinese though. Usually, I watch Chinese dramas and think some of the actors look Korean, but this is the first time I've watched a Korean drama and thought the actor looked Chinese. haha
Max and Tul's acting and chemistry really sell this one. Tbh it's one of my faves, but a lot of people are really…
Ah ok.If you don't like the cheating trope, then it's very easy to see why that trope happening with *three* couples in *one* show would put you off. haha I liked TharnType as well! You have a good day too!
I don't dislike XF, but one thing I did hate about him is also that he defended his mom and it is his own fault…
Excellent questions! To the first one: honestly, no. Runyu and Jinmi were friends. Runyu had no other friends. If his brother were the brother to him that he ought to have been, he may not have been so obsessed/attached to her.
To the second one: under the circumstances that I just mentioned, I don't think he would have wanted to marry her in the first place because he'd simply value her friendship.
About Kuanglu, I don't believe she actually loved him. She admired him from before and was always drawn to him, but she was only ever actually close to him in a professional (as professional as a personal guard can be) way. Runyu didn't even look her in the eye most of the time when speaking to her or when she was speaking to him. Obsessed with him? Maybe.
In my view pretty much all the conflicts in this show can be traced back to the emperor (the seed of the issues), the empress (the instigator), and XuFeng (the one with the options to change it all, but actively decided against it).
Runyu was driven to insanity. He didn't get there on his own and that's sad because he really wasn't terrible at the beginning.
The creepy doctor storyline I could have done without. Dude gave me the heebie jeebies the second he showed up…
Yeah. He was just a little *too* visibly old. At the time of filming, actor playing Farm was 22 and the actor playing the doctor was 42. Were I an actor, I don't think I'd have much of an issue being intimate with someone I wasn't my sexual preference (a girl in my case), but someone old to be my father is very, very different.
Can anyone tell me why this is so popular and has this high rating? I can't find one positive thing I saw in this…
Max and Tul's acting and chemistry really sell this one. Tbh it's one of my faves, but a lot of people are really put off by all the cheating stuff, which is acceptable, but I'd be lying if I said I was even remotely invested in anyone else besides Korn and Knock.
I don't dislike XF, but one thing I did hate about him is also that he defended his mom and it is his own fault…
Yeah, but that was all the way at the end. If XF had taken proper responsibility as future king, stood by his brother and opposed his mother, the whole conflict could have largely been avoided. A lot of Runyu's wanting to keep Jinmi was based on how much was taken from him and denied to him.
You have a good day too!
