I can see why this was cut out. Sometimes, we don't need to go through the awkward part (even if it is literal seconds long lol). Falling in love with a kiss and smile is enough sometimes. :)
A simple, yet timeless story of gay youth in the summertime. The cinematography was great and I want to see more of the actors.
There seem to be two versions on YouTube. One that's a little under four minutes and another that's just over four minutes. The former has soft piano music with a few captions at the beginning and the end. The latter has music/lyrics all throughout. While I really like the song, the lyrics seem little too literal. They don't use a clever or a poetic way of saying what the characters are feeling, they just say exactly what the characters are feeling and experiencing.
I think it's official. MDL is where BL fans come to be film critics. Discord, Amino, and Twitter are where BL fans go to fangirl. Such a well-organized fanbase.
This might sound strange but I really liked Sun's facial stubble. The "I have not shaved all day look" is appropriate…
I also like his stubble. ^_^ I think the first episode was done well too. I'm looking forward to when Sky finally gets kidnapped and how Sun's gonna rescue him. I don't know if that's exactly what's going to happen, but I know at some point someone's going to at least try and kidnap him. I don't really get Pitch yet either though tbh.
I promise I’m gonna try and pay attention to this plot as much as I can, but Sun (especially when he’s fighting bad guys) is very distracting (in a good way).
For me, Aaron Lai's looks are too severe and I like Hank Wang a lot more, but this ep, without his hair done up…
True. Bangs-up Aaron Lai and bangs-down Aaron Lai are two very different images. Maybe something to do with how his eyebrows are covered and how that softens his face overall.
There was something slightly exciting about this for the first 7 or 8 episodes, then suddenly it got a little boring. This show is BL 101. Aside from handful of very good actors and a lot of funny scenes, nothing very memorable for me. One thing I can't shake though is how much of a personality Mork doesn't seem to have. I feel like we get a better idea of the kind of person Mueang Nan is than we do Mork. What is this guy about other than really, really loving Pi?
