First off, I am loving this series. But…after what they did to Sis I’m so sad. The villains got what they deserved. PERIOD. Self defense. Kill or be killed in a situation like that. I really hope for some type of happy ending, but considering this is about the end of the world, I’m thinking that nope it’s not going to be a happy ending…

Right? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Like I know people have different tastes and all, but yeah I don’t know how some shows have such high ratings, yet are utter crap.

Agreed. It’s one of my favorite LGBT Japanese dramas of all time. The ost and BGMs add so much depth, feeling, and emotion to the storyline. It’s really sad and a shame that it isn’t well known compared to other LGBT dramas or BLs. The cast was amazing and the way the story was told was really interesting and beautiful too. I think what turns people off is that it’s a body swap, but this isn’t your typical body swap. It’s so much more. If people would give this drama a chance, I think they would really enjoy and appreciate it for what it is.

I’ve learned not to trust the rating system. As I have found some amazing shows through MyDramaList that I thought were absolutely amazing, but had lower than usual ratings.

I just wish I could watch this. Subtitles or no subtitles. I would still watch it. I can understand Japanese to a certain degree, so it’s not like I would be totally lost if I were to watch it without subtitles.

Except I think we’ll be waiting longer than six months. For example, Cherry Magic the movie aired back in April in Japan. We still don’t have any updates on that for international fans and it’s been almost six months already. So for Grand Guignol, I think we’ll be waiting probably at least one year for an international release if anything.

Looking forward to watching this. Heck, I will watch it without subtitles if I have to. I love the cast. Seems like it’s going to be quite gory and definitely rated R 18+.
