Yeah, the writing is pretty bad…there’s no storyline lol. I didn’t like SIMM either and it was overall a chore to get through and Dunks acting didn’t help at all. I don’t know why he’s so awkward in front of the camera. Maybe it’s just the usual discomfort or nervousness? Or maybe there are other issues…I have no idea. But Dunk really should try to do smt about it if he wants to grow and evolve as an actor.

I haven’t seen the reboot yet bc of how much of a mess the whole franchise is and all the scandals that seem to shadow it. I am kind of interested to watch it bc of Joong though but I know I’ll only get disappointed even more bc now Joong has been pretty much put on a short GMMtv leash connecting him to Dunk for the foreseeable future. At the very least GMM should put a bit more effort into helping Dunk develop his acting skills…
I’m a little sad that Joong is being given these “perfect boyfriend” roles with very little personality to showcase his acting versatility. I think he’s better than this. Dunk though…he’s very green yet. He still needs to develop his acting skills. Joong deserves someone who’s on a similar level acting wise. I know they’re a fixed pair and GMMt is very strict with those but I can’t help thinking Joong deserves better roles and a different partner.
I liked that it had the feel of a mainstream k drama but the main pairing was a bit too plain and boring for my taste. I was very invested in the second couple though and am extremely upset how little resolution they got. It’s insulting, really! Kim Donghee was my favorite. Regardless of my level of enjoyment though, it’s a notable milestone for KBLs for sure (disregarding the awful kisses of course). I hope more KBLs will receive similar quality treatment from now on.
You mean you don't understand what happened in the last few parts of the final EP? If so, then the gist of it…
Thanks for the explanation but there’re a lot of of things I’m still confused about. So, The One is supposed to be Death, right? He said he killed God from his own universe, which technically implies that each universe has its own God. It said that The One, Chan and Dome are the same person (if you will) but from different universes. They seem to have the same powers too. If that’s the case then are Chan and Dome also Deaths but from different universes? Or are Chan and Dome (and potentially other Gun lookalikes) copies of himself that The One sent to other universes (assuming other universes didn’t have Gun/Deaths)? Regardless of that why would The One think Katha is a good candidate for being a God? I didn’t understand that. Did the original God have a plan for Chan and Katha and why didn’t the One want for Katha to keep looking for Dome? Or did Chans existence started after The One killed the original God? I’m sorry I’m just very confused Also, Boons existence in itself confuses me too…like, who is he? He seems to have the same powers, maybe he is another Horseman of the apocalypse? Idk…
i found the first episode boring..... should i keep watching and wait till it gets interesting and picks up the…
Honestly, I felt the same. It gets better in the second half of the show though bc the story moves away from episodic storytelling and starts to work with an actual, longer storyline. I’m not saying it becomes amazing, but it does get better.
I thought the story was a bit chaotic and the execution kinda wonky but I became quite invested in the second half, regardless. Despite the awkward fighting scenes and special effects I would very much be interested in a second season.

What do you mean when you say they are a mess off - screen?
I think I’ve found him. He was credited under NLMG (original)
