I think he was holding back so much, including his feelings, until he heard HY and FY were getting married and he realized he had to be Da Man and go get Da Woman. This is also where I finally saw that mischievous twinkle he had in Episode 1 back in his eyes. He hadn't looked so carefree for almost 20 episodes, LMAO.
