Exactly. You said it better than I did :). I'm just wondering, as a form of poetic exercise, what kind of ten years she went through at the border--you would think war/defense would give her more of a personality other than delusional longing, without even a whit of understanding what pain her "beloved" might be going/have gone through. His wastrel lifestyle did not seem to make her see him through new eyes--as a general, who believed another general did that crime, I'd have been more disgusted, more sarcastic, more something--but she was just Miss AI General walking with a big stick up her youknowwhere.
