Yeah, the so-called boyfriend refused to let her go for the most asshole reasons ever. He didn't even love her; just wanted to control her fate.
I think there may have been romance in the beginning but it petered out and they stayed together out of laziness. They had a sexual relationship, so he was happy to keep her hanging on. She didn't even meet his father until she went to the house to tell him she was no longer interested in his son.
Cringe and apparently, I didn't get the memo that cheating is fun, cool and the new in.Dropped, if you think this…
The so-called boyfriend was a bastard who in episode one was open to meeting Assemblyman Jang's daughter. He also saw Jeong In as more of a possession than someone to be cherished and only tried to hang onto her so he didn't lose out to the lovely Ji Ho, whom he looked down on. He even said he was prepared to "drag her down the aisle" just to make his stupid poing.
I am not really sure, but it seems like in Korea it is normal to have a "weekend family", they actually…
I think it was a routine established because Ji Ho was so young and unmarried when Eun U was born and needed to establish his career, and this was compounded by the fact that the baby's mother ran off when he was just a few months old. He was definitely a good and attentive father, though, and frequently went home during the week to tuck him in because the little boy liked to fight sleep. I think it was always the plan for Ji Ho to take full custody once he marries. And there was this whole stigma about being a single parent, so if Eun U lived with him his chances of finding a bride would be nil, lol.
Watch it. It's really, really, really good. She tries to get rid of the boyfriend but he refuses to let her go because he thinks Ji Ho isn't good enough. He's a snobbish bastard who thinks way more of himself than he should.
how is the romance, is it slow? is there a breakup? I need a fluffy drama to lif my mood 😩
Watch it. It is hysterically funny at many points. The romance is slow, but very worthy. It's honestly so good that I stayed up all night watching the first 8 episodes. And like many, I am very sad there are only 12.
my comfort drama. Will never understand the hate fr..This show was beautiful
I know, right? I love how when Joon Young tells Song Ah that he loves her, he says it multiple times. And how when his life was thoroughly miserable generally, he lit up whenever they were together.
Tan Jianci’s voice is like comfort food. It’s very pleasant to hear him speak in that deep tone. His singing…
I am right there with you and I have no idea how many times I've rewatched this. Just finished a two-day binge earlier today and for some reason, this time around I was really feeling him falling deeper and deeply in love with her this time, more so than in the past. And she changed, too, and began initiating hugs and kisses. Oh, and the dates he planned on those trips? Sooo jealous!!!
I agree it's one of my favorite romcoms, I've watched it about 5 times since it aired. Jun Ho is an excellent…
Just finished and I agree that it was so good. And I'm thrilled the main couple was able to resolve the obstacles that came their way maturely without fighting, breaking up, being stubborn, etc. They were very loving and the kisses were great and reciprocal. And they were so committed to each other, like, once they decided to fall in love there was no turning back. Will definitely rewatch.
