One of the things I love most about this drama is how Meng pursued and fell in love with and accepted Jin Yu as she found him when he was kind of pitiful and was thought to be poor. Turns out he's extremely smart and extremely well off.
I've seen some complaints about too much filler in episodes, but I haven't minded it because these people are very entertaining and funny, especially his grandma.
the wedding is really beautiful, couldn't stop smiling and I had tears eyes. they spend almost half the episode…
Agree that the wedding was lovely and so much fun. Also love that they did a traditional and western ceremony. I laughed and teared up like I know these people, lol.
Any idea what the first song was that played at the start of the western ceremony?
Doesn't the female lead feel like a coquette? I mean the traditional meaning of a coquette the one who plays push…
I am loving the series but not feeling the "deep affectionate" eyes. The lead here is handsome and sexy, but those eyes do not match Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, for example.
Honestly a masterpiece. An amazing melodrama fitting the title. No BS melodrama though. No triangle relationships.…
This series was really lovely. Part of the final episode broke my heart, though, and I cried when Gyeom was talking with Jun and said, "Visit me in my dreams. Let's hang out.." And I love how it ended with him passed out from drinking the brother's scotch and smoking a stale cigarette to Mubee at the bus stop with an opening sigh followed by him handing her an ear of corn.
That whole scene did me in. The music is also really good and sweet. The one thing that kind of bothered me was that she didn't pay enough attention to him after the brother died. Like, how long did it take for her to see he was having difficulty going into and sleeping in the house? Even second male lead knew that and was bringing "survivor supplies."
Decided to give this a go whilst waiting for the big budget releases and I'm pleasantly surprised?!The banter…
I agree. Some people think she's being too aggressive, but I think she's trying to help him be more upbeat because of his depression, which she's familiar with because of her mum and Dr. Yang's lectures.
I love that she flew back to the city she fled to check on him post surgery. And when he looked at her and said "It hurts," my heart melted. And those kisses in episode 8? More than we get sometimes in an entire series.
I'm having fun with this one, especially after such an intense week of Our Generation.
I'm so frustrated. Viki says 11 and 12 will be available today, but at what time?!? I can't believe that I'm subjecting myself to waiting for episodes to drop again like I did with Our Generation. Unlike with OG, the English translation on kisskh are so bad I can't watch.
I am really enjoying this series and for the most part like all of the characters, but loathe that ex-husband.
This series is so good and also fun to watch. I love his grandma. There was more kissing in the episode where they got together than we see in some entire series.
Dear Teenager: Keep watching; I think you'll change your mind, but if you don't, that's okay, too.I think they…
Not at all immature and you are still so young!!! I am an exquisitely fashionable old lady (My Little Happiness reference), so I totally get her and would love to have gone through what she did with the perfect end result. And you're right. He was totally sabotaging himself., but I get it. His life was so tragic. American boys, where I live, would not have withstood it.
And just like you, they were still so young. In the olden days of my time, she would have been taking to her bed and on , antidepressants and weekly therapy, but she was so strong, which was a complete revelation to him during the last 4-5 episodes. I can't wait to rewatch when they're all on Netflix and I can watch on a much larger screen
I hope you experience a great ultimate love in life. I wish I'd seen these dramas when I was many years younger. They have me rethinking my whole romantic history, lol.
P.S. What country are you in? I would like to know that about many posters here. I am American; some seem to have been able to watch without the English subtitles before Kiss today. I'm too old to start trying to learn Mandarin, but my vocabulary grows weekly. :)
She studied hard to get into the school not only for him anymore but because she decided to try science and we…
They didn't really know her at all and were extremely jealous because it was so clear he cared about her aside from and in additional to the original friend group and also had no idea how special she was.
I would like to share my opinion on Ying Tao, as a teenager myself(please dont be harsh) until the 17th episode.…

I think they knew each other initially for way longer than six months. The child actors also seem to have sprouted a bit during filming (moreso him). Also, she was very unhappy living where the family was before moving because of being separated from him as well as the rest of their little crew who were already at that school or all entering it at the same time.
How was her life tangled and messy? He helped her with the physics and math before the ghosting and she worked really hard to get into the university of her choice and--keep watching--she thrived at university. Yes, she felt a little melancholy because she missed him so much, but she did not in any way allow that to interfere with her future and made friends, and if she ultimately gave up (which, thank goodness she didn't), our girl is so strong--she would have been just fine. You'll see.
What episode are you on? Please don't take anything I've said here to heart or as a criticism; everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine is that this is a love worth the struggles and as I've already said, she did not let her yearning for him stop her from achieving her goals. You'll see!
Let me know what you think when you've watched it all and hoping you find your one true-- love when you're old enough, lol.
I am reminded a bit tonight of Lighter and Princess. That girl was prepared to starve to death to show her devotion and her crazy parents allowed that. Another case of reckless mother and feckless dad.

Enjoyed this series, but it was seriously melo.
I am having so much fun with this series. I know there's angst to come, but as long as they keep the love alive, I'm okay!

Best wishes!!!!
