No FL's grandma and mother are good his parents are the bad ones
They are awful after he has been so very kind caring for the mum after learning about her cancer and the grandmother knows how deeply they care for each other. But, yes, his parents are even worse for a variety of reasons. I can almost see them kind of accepting the couple if he made it clear that not doing so is not an option, but they have many very bad traits unrelated to that.

Title Sold Out on You Spoiler
I must say the ML’s behaviour at the end of episode 8 seemed pretty inconsistent to how he’s been shown up…
I think he's feeling super overwhelmed. There are all of these feelings blooming and replacing the rocks in his heart and the enormous guilt of what happened to both the little girl and FL as a result of that morning cream fiasco that also affected her career. In addition, it likely led to the depressed period he experienced that has been hinted at. And, he doesn't want her to lose a career that has been so important to her and for which she worked so incredibly hard. Hopefully he'll miss her like mad!

He needs to be honest with her, though. It looks like at the end of the preview she's demanding answers, so hopefully the breakup will last just the one episode.

It just occured to me, that the sunrise kiss is a callback to the scene between In-ah and Jae-Yeol in ep 6. Back…
Great points. Jae-Yeol would never in a million years be a good support system for FL. He is a taker, which is why he keeps SFL around while we're all questioning why. ML is the sunshine in her life and he's also not afraid to challenge her ideas.

Now I want to rewatch episode 8. :)

I think when the younger one see how older ( uncle and aunt) fight for their love , they will be like : "Oh…
Perhaps. I think Eun Bin may be kind of over it and her new sister may likely encourage her to get her life in order. The male lead also needs to pass his exams and begin his medical career. We'll see!

I’m not entirely sold on this drama, but I still keep coming back for more. I really wish the enemies-to-lovers…
She got under his skin. It's as simple as that, I think!

I'm at first episode yet and I'm confused about something: is the protagonist the joseon lady or Shin Seo Rin?
They are the same. Joseon lady is in Shin Seo's body.

not all the details were revealed but ina and jaeyeol's relationship seems like it didn't need to end back then…
He didn't fight for her, that's why it ended. And they are both too damaged to be good for each other, with her being the "stronger"of the two.

He definitely wanted to reignite the relationship there, where they shared their one and only vacation together, but she did not want to go, which is why he brought up at the board meeting and forced her hand when she tried to get out of it. The HR lady was all, like, how lucky you are!!! Not.

"Borderline abusive"may be a bit strong, but that incident in which her blouse was damaged left a really bad impression. Then there's the refusal to not only acknowledge her growing bond with ML, but more important her desire to not resume their relationship; trying to intimidate ML in the cafeteria; abusing his power with his decision to export the ML to the US; and tying her hands at that meeting and forcing her to travel with him to Jeju.

I hope so. I actually feel pretty confident that the uncle and auntie will stand their ground and if they falter, her son will be, like, this is the first time in my life that my mother has been happy. Back off you stupid people who are fighting for no reason, lol.

ML and FL's siblings are also aware of their love so maybe they'll talk some sense into them?

He's borderline abusive and refusing to accept that she has moved on. Sadly, there will be a lot more of him to come!

I thought she tasted the soup after cooking it and deemed it tasty. Then after the argument with ML she dumped it in the sink because clearly that dinner date was now cancelled.

I am still waiting for the episode here in the US, sigh. But yeah, SFL is pathetic. Didn't he already tell her that nothing has changed for him in the past 10 years? And she knows for a fact, as well as she knows her own name, that he has fallen for FL! Like, seriously, stop degrading yourself because you are not the one for him.

Childish Bunny. I love that nickname, lol.

Holy sh!tttt!!!!! This drama just got REAL!!! 😱 it blows my mind, the romance so well written, at this point…
I think it was made very clear why FL and SML didn't work out. Not only was he being pushed into marriage to the psycho, but when she encouraged him to marry and not rock the family boat, he did just that and did not fight for her and their love, so now she's over it.

If you recall the rainy car conversation she had with ML, she indicated that while she may act all stoic, she really wants someone who will fight for her and their love. That's what ML did when after seeing the gold bar teddy bear in her car, he flew to Jeju to fight for their love.

Actually, the seaweed soup was tasty according to her, but the sad part was she didn't get to serve it because of their spat.

I think I'm with you on the last two episodes. I rather tense while watching 8 because I feared a multi-episode breakup era. Also agree with you on the ending and her leaving baggage behind. She also finally opened up her heart.

Throughout the episode I was waiting for the FL to crack. She's acting very cheery and stoic, but there has to be a moment when she just falls apart.

I am very angry with the ML. You don't want to upset your horrible future MIL and halmeoni-in-law and THAT'S why you're moving away? I think that's the most cowardly excuse I've heard yet and am really hoping his mind is just all messed up because of the whole cancer thing.

Thank goodness uncle/aunt romance is coming to light. I hope no one dares to give two 40-something adults an ultimatum about their relationship and thank goodness her son will come to their defense, if necessary. I think the younger generations will also be on their side

The adoption segments were really well done and I actually felt a bit bad for Se Ri, whose actress did an outstanding job, even though I really do not like her character.

Angels above, please forgive me, but you know who I didn't feel sorry for? FL's mother, because she is so pushy and bitter. I couldn't muster up any sympathy for her, though I wouldn't wish breast cancer on my worst enemy. She's trying to act all reformed, but I bet the minute she finds out the truth about her daughter's love life, she'll revert to her original arrogant, mean, and pushy self.
