We don't know yet what kind of partner he will be because they have not yet begun their relationship. But I think he's going to be great. He's only been an asshole when he's acted out of jealousy and even then he always apologizes profusely.

Believe me, I feel your pain, but think he's been walking a very fine line with the influencer ex because of business but she absolutely won't stop pursuing him until he tells her straight up to put him out of her mind and her heart because he is falling in love with Miyu.

That's the only thing she'll understand because even after he flew out of the restaurant after Miyu, this girl still does not get it.

By the same token, instead of taking off in that cab, Miyu should have listened to him when he came running after her.

I also didn't like that she agreed to let the mother work at the hotel but your comment made me think.

First, it seems like Miyu has adopted Ji Feng's anything to boost the hotel and its business and satisfy guests/customers attitude, and the afternoon tea pastries were a big problem. They wanted not just tasty pastries but unique to their hotel pastries, which is a skill the mother has. And wasn't it the chef who shared the ones Miyu made using her mum's recipe with Rui and Ji?

Second, it was a way for her mother to actually earn her own money. Miyu wants her to be less dependent on the evil stepfather. It seems the position is only temporary, though, and hopefully we will see the back of that woman and her asshole husband very soon.

Yes, and it will be glorious because when word on the street gets out that not only is she a home wrecker but was also in a ho phase sleeping with more than one man at the same time, she's going to have to leave town. She is going to have to learn how to cook because she won't be able to afford all of that food delivery. And she'll have to commute for hours to work because the only school district housing she'll be able to afford is far, far away.

He needs to shut influencer ex all the way down and make it crystal clear to Miyu that he has zero interest in that girl because that is what is holding her back at this point and him yelling at her doesn't help even if he's feeling like a green-eyed monster.

I saw a FB post that was in a foreign language with no subs but it was clear in one scene that the vixen bitch's spawn is not his. So the commenter who noted that Miyu's fibroids had nothing to do with her inability to get pregnant and it was all him was right it seems. I hope he divorces the heartless bitch and sells that new apartment and that Miyu does not give up on her quest to get the investment money he owes her. In fact, I hope he gives it to her before divorcing the vixen so that she really gets as little as possible.

It also looks like Miyu is going to shine in the sales department, so maybe that's another instance in which the vixen will get her due.

I think we get D-day for spice and then in the same episode influencer ex has some sort of mental health crisis that requires him, as an old friend at the least, to give her some support, which gets the gossipers going with their stupid speculation. I just hope that when Miyu confronts him about it he tells her the truth, even if he has to violate that girl's confidence. They appear to be in a good place in 31. Tan Jr. and influencer chick still can't take a hint, but it's too late for them now.

I don't mind idol types. He is not an idol type to me and not very manly, IMO, which is why I used the term fangirly. Maybe teenage-like is better? I don't know. I've seen here that he's very popular, but I just don't get it.

I love, love, loved Pursuit of Jade and I'm not even a costume drama fan. And I especially love the ML in that one.

Agree that while he often comes to her rescue, Miyu has also been an enormous help to Ji, which is why he relies on her so much but she is doing too much. Didn't Rui tell him the poor girl is working night and day? That mother should have a backup hearing aid and instead of screaming like a maniac should have been racing to find a hearing aid store.

I love how Miyu is jumping from department to department because it is preparing her to join the upper management ranks :) It seems like she is following a trajectory similar to the one Ji climbed on his way to the top.

Yes, Mr. Ji must act soon, although I think don't that she would ever seriously consider Tan jr. under any circumstances for the reasons you cited. I also think Tan jr. absolutely knows she has feelings for Ji Feng based on the friction between them that he has observed and her painting analogy she made at the drunken dinner, but is still taking his best shot. Kudos to him, but I am thrilled that it is completely futile.

I'm trying to suspend disbelief and thinking that a) the garbage collector was helpful because she told him it was for an exam kid and b) that facility is somehow tied to the hotel.

I did side eye her to bits over the bikes, because, girl, this is a dump. Why do you think those bikes are there? They are all broken!!!

The taxi turning up right away was also very convenient.

But I still love this series to bits and am so sad there was just one episode today because 30 is going to be so exciting and I had been looking forward to it for days!!!

I think these final upcoming episodes are going to be wonderful. She's going to the sales department so doesn't have to put up with bitchy insubordinates. They finally become a couple and solidify their relationship and then conquer the hotel villans! Plus karma for Nie and hopefully for LZZ.
