I hope they bury the hatchet, too, but I still want him to at the same time be miserable. I respect a healthy competition, but they are too old for him to still be so gross. Did you see the episode 19 preview?

No, it does not. The SML is attracted to her but he will never in a million years have a chance with her. She even said today that she's not stupid enough to get carried away just because that jerk is being kind to her. She sees right through him.

So, don't worry about that at all.

He is so insincere. Although I hope he helps uncover his father's dastardly deeds, I am also hoping he is miserable in the end because he needs to do some serious soul searching and self-reflection about how mean and petty he's become.

Yes, he's attracted to Xiu, but he doesn't like her enough to stop acting like a childish and vindictive asshole. I hate him on my screen but the contrast between him and XZY is beautiful to see and the innate way he just knows what she needs is incredible.

PZ is the absolute worst. I pray, PRAY, I tell you, that XZY says at that table, "It's a pity for you that the one you love is my girlfriend." What an asshole he is.

I think she initially didn't want to call the police because her husband was trying to do business with him but after the car incident, all bets were off. The police got involved and she posted his assault on the internet.

She would definitely do the same with that gossipy colleague who has been working closely with her and ML on the project because she is a thoughtful person. She literally just slapped the bandaid on his forehead and kept it moving. His being moved by that is all on him. The only reason she's spending this time with him is because she was assigned to do so as a liaison between the two companies, which the ML approved because it's an opportunity to enhance her career growth.

In the trailer, he calls her name when she walks away after the bandaid thing, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

She is in no way making SML think he has a chance with her. Just treating him like a colleague.

I feel sorry for him, too. I can forgive him moving, even though I hate it, but want to give him a piece of my mind for the way he did that.

He may also have thought he could do that because he will see her at work, but still was a very bad move. And maybe his heart couldn't handle packing up, lol!

True, but he's so foul about it and his tactics are proof that he's no competition for Yu and that's why he goes low.

She kept her distance from Pei as ML had earlier requested, but now the two companies are collaborating so she has no choice but to work and spend time with him. Pei also requested that she be the liaison between the two companies instead of the other more experienced colleague working closely with ML and FL on this, which ML approved because he loves her and doesn't want his jealousy to inhibit her professional growth. (I low-key think he created that job for her and that other interviewee was a ruse to make it look like he wasn't, lol.)

So now, FL is working from a clean slate and will treat him kindly just as he would any other colleague. Of course, Pei will misunderstand, but that won't make her accept his advances, and it will push ML to get his head and heart together and pursue her.

Yu's not revengeful; he's seeking the truth so he clear his father's name and reclaim his own identity as his father's son.

And Pei is absolutely a very bad guy who uses the company to knock down Yu at any given opportunity, including paying someone to plant a camera in his office and then editing the footage to make him look bad publicly; spying on him to then go on the news to pretend he came up with the idea first to incorporate the lanes in the hotel design so it would look like Yu was a copycat; cutting off the supply chain of materials Dynamism needed for the project by locking the vendors into exclusive contracts. He's overflowing with jealousy and vindictiveness because he doesn't have the skills to compete with Yu on a fair playing ground.

There is an ulterior motive behind everything he does. I get he may feel resentment because his father probably was making unfair comparisons to the two boys when they were children, and because Yu has become a huge professional success that everyone in the business world greatly admires and praises, and he did it on his own without that so-called family's support. Do we think he would have been washing dishes to support himself in college.

He's in for a world of hurt when the truth about his father's dastardly deeds come out and it will be interesting to see if he does the honorable thing or fights to save his father's and the company's reputation.

And, yeah, he likes our FL but he is not the one for her because he lacks the moral fibre she seeks in a man. I don't think she'd go for him even if he wasn't ML's step-brother.

Well, she told SML at the party that she is aware of and doesn't care for the way he tried to cut off their supply chain of project materials/vendors. And there also was that whole car conversation, after which he still made that elevator move. He is way, way, way more into antagonizing Yu than he is into her, otherwise he would not have done that in the elevator if he wanted a genuine shot at winning her heart.

Is the step-brother (they share not a drop of blood) interaction you speak of when she snuck in the game? How was that crossing the line? Her sole motivation was to shelter the ML from this intrusion into his safe space. She understands how sacred that game space is for him and didn't want it ruined by anyone, especially someone with no good intentions.

That elevator move was rude and disrespectful and she did not appreciate what he said one bit when ML questioned it. He could have told her to press floor 6, but he crossed a boundary to announce that he wants to make a move on her in front of her colleague, who will be sure to gossip about it at the office given the expression his face. He's the one who was going on about the chocolates, right?

(Speaking of which: ML was so upset by the chocolate convo he forgot to put a cup to catch the coffee he was making, lol.)

And in front of ML, even though he knows they like each other a lot, lived together, shared confidences, etc.

He started out wanting to use her to get to Yu and even though he is starting to like-like her, his primary motive continues to be hurting Yu. His motivations are impure and he's about to get a serious reality check regarding his dirty daddy, which he deserves for being so evil toward the ML since they were children.

He could never see inside her heart and soul like Yu does. That's not in his DNA.

And can we talk about how he totally forgot about the anniversary?!?

There will be no love triangle. Pei may try it on, but there is no way in hell she'd accept his advances. Also, Yu fully occupies her heart.

I started watching it, too!!!

And I bet he was pretty impressed/surprised by the fact that ML had shared that information because nobody else who wasn't a part of their lives back then knows it.
