I watch both, but definitely prefer the Chinese dramas. The Kdramas often drop just two episodes a week, which is maddening. Also, my old brain has picked up several Mandarin words. Korean? Not so much. The love eyes in Chinese dramas are also superior, lol.

I just skimmed through the novel starting at chapter 82 and the marquis is as big of a freak as those crazy brothers without the sadist component!!! The biting and sucking on her when he or she is unconscious was CRAZY!!!

And he only started fearing death when he fell in love with her!

He does speak differently to her now. I think because his secret has been aired and he's made a full-on confession and has a plan for how they can be happily married, he's a new man. Also loved his suggestion that they spar; it's like training her to be his work partner.

And he will be, like, I am going to make you my whole disciple and help him make you a whole wife.

I love him so much. That line about there being no cafe's in the neighborhood cracks me up every single time! He broke my heart in Amidist a Snowstorm of Love, though.
