A blind test should’ve been done in the competition. The voting is so unfair considering that both nations have…
exactly. everyone would just vote for their own person. it makes no sense for the envoy to vote for the FL, because he's literally plotting to kill the king so why would he ever admit her food was better? and of course the king is falling in love with the FL, so why would he ever vote for the other side? the writers have set it up so that anyone voting against their own team is an unrealistic outcome, and if they do make the envoy vote for Joseon then it'll feel like cheap writing to work themselves out of a fix.

You're assuming everyone has the same interest level as you. Even the shows that you consider "too draggy" as you say has fans who loved every minute and even would wish it was longer. It all depends on how personally captivated you are by a story.
It feels very morally righteous to decide everyone who doesn't love a story the way you do is looking for instant gratification...

I'm not sure why this is hard for you to understand, but you can enjoy a show without liking every single story arc in it. You seem to want to bother me for having a different view and I don't like, so please stop speaking to me now.

I see what you mean, but I still think the competition format is boring now and I'll cry if there's a third one. 🤣 I think there are other ways to introduce different characters, cultures and recipes without defaulting to competitions, especially when the competition drags out over multiple episodes like this one.
