Thank you Adrien. Have you ever seen them do this before? That's a strange choice for something to draw in international fans. Enough so I checked that there is indeed a Thai PBS logo on the trailer (because why?) It's not on VIPA (yet). Edit: I found trailers for eps 1 & 2 on https://www.thaipbs.or.th/program/BLWriter This is so confusing.
It's Thai PBS. All of their orignal programming is available internationally - free and legally - via their vipa.me…
Oh sorry, I was talking about those of us who make a point to watch Thai PBS programmes in general.
Thai PBS has been making and subtitling more and more LGBTQ+ and BL programming, and the BL crowd is apt to just watch on whatever sites they're familiar with. Thai PBS programmes won't be on Viki, Gaga, or the usual legal Asian drama sites so they look to the pirate ones. For the most part they don't seem to realise that Thai PBS is a thing.
The BL-related programmes are most likely to be pirated too, even though there really is no need. So I make a point of paying attention to the pages for these programmes in particular to help those who are interested find their way to the site.
I don't know how common it is, just that this happens and people talk about it openly and share pirate links.

All Thai PBS original programming is legally available internationally and for free through their vipa.me streaming service and the VIPA app.
Please support them, their directors, screenwriters and actors, all of the work they are doing in providing English subtitles, and their BL, LGBTQ+ and adjacent programmes by watching via vipa. Watching stolen content on other sites gives them nothing, not even feedback or a show of support for BL, LGBTQ+ and subtitled programming.
Chances are high this will be subbed in English, maybe quickly, maybe within a few months. All of their newer programming has Thai subtitles - if you're able to use some sort of auto-translate, look for those.
But please, please watch legally. Thai PBS is a fantastic resource.

I have no idea why they're doing it this way or how if they'll make it available through VIPA.

I try to keep this list up to date with what has English subtitles, they're adding a lot.
