I just find it hard to understand that when actors are working in such strict environment especially Chinese actor/actresses why they don't plan their actions more carefully.
And as you said the actress didn't did the cabaret herself but being in public eyes everything, she does view by millions of people so that's why government is extra stick with them.
People supporting her by using the logic of cabaret being legal in other countries if we go by that then it should also be okay for celebrities to do drugs outside of China and Korea.
I do read bio if I like/watch someone work make me help in better understand that person so that I can proceed to stan them or look out for their other projects.
