Can someone tell me which dialect they speak? I feel like it is not a usual kdrama accent
It's the Gyeongsangdo dialect.....it's spoken in the southeastern parts of Korea like Daegu and the Busan-Ulsan region.

Totally agree with you. Given that its based off of Dazai's novel, I'm most curious and a bit nervous abt how they adapt the dark and poignant world of Dazai. I've seen this director's previous works and I believe that he can make this a masterpiece as good as my mister, if not better. Fingers crossed for this one ;-)

Is this inspired by Osamu dazai's No longer human?
Its definitely based on the themes in Dazai's No Longer Human like being consumed by materialistic pleasures, failing in one's career, or feeling as if your an outcast in society etc.
