With all due respect, everyone has the right to express opinion on this platform. Each user watches through their own POV. It's great that you empathizing with the staff and actors but not everyone does the same.......and that's okay too! Pursuit of Jade won't go through any loss because of a few negative comments. It'll remain on the top for a very long time so you may continue with supporting all the positive comments without using your energy for anything you don't like ππΌ THIS is just a friendly reminder πππ
I'm okay with all the actions and behaviour of Ji-ho in the last 2 episodes. What I wasn't okay with was that they dragged it too much. Instead of simply letting the audience know what she's thinking, they kept making her speak in riddles and confusing us in the process. It doesn't feel poetic if you keep talking that way for 1 hour of the episode π·
This show is a clear example of people choose beauty over brains. Or beauty over brawns (coz the Marquis never showed any brawns π)!
Look at The Prisoner of Beauty - how well they created a plot, developed characters, exposed secrets at the right time, gave good villains and supporting characters to root for. A very decent production, nothing extravagant. Some usual flaws that are found in any drama and yet they wrapped up the story so well.
Everyone is only giving a higher rating coz of the Lian'an village Arc and forgiving the mess served in the 2nd half. They loved 1 character or liked the looks of a certain actor and decided the fate on that alone. Would you be happy if you got a very good appetizer and soup but the restaurant ruined the main course and dessert?
Be honest, you are never gonna rewatch this episode 17.
It seems like every person (fans, media, the military's official handle, everyone involved in PoJ, the fan base, the fans of that other older actor) every single person is clout-chasing! For eg. Makeup is worn by every single actor. It is necessary for stuff like lighting, etc. It's not the first time a general on the battlefield is looking pretty.
People are just giving their 2-cents for the clout. This too will pass.
Qi Min looks like a long haired guy who came back with a sexy short hair cut π Too bad they didn't allow them a happy alternate ending :( Though it felt like they picked an incorrect scene to end the whole series on.
Honestly, they should not allow rating a show that has not completed airing halfway. Only 4 episodes are out and already at 7.5? What's so bad about it? Should I not watch it? The story seems interesting and I'm drawn alot towards this casting.
I don't think this show is meant to be logical and things are written that way to drive the plot forward and keep…
Queue of ghosts would've been really fun π Even the support characters such as the Father and the Brother-in-law all show up as per plot convenience
The basic plot is already having bullet holes and potholes in it. Point #1 How is he earning money? Which living person is paying him? Point #2 if the dead client's charm exists on the walls of his office, are they not gonna show who placed it there? Which mourning person must've visited the temple? Shin i-rang can totally take the fees from such a person. Point #3 this Esom's sad past flashbacks are already seeming like a bit dragged. But it's not boring. Point #4 Every case that Esom is taking exactly coincides with Shin i-rang's cases. Point #5 Conveniently ghosts appear only one at a time after a previous case has been solved.
So far I'd say this is total past time watch, not to be taken seriously, slapstick comedy, keep your analytical brain aside to watch kinda show. The emotions that the ghost clients go through is very heart-touching. Very similar to Move To Heaven.
ep37almost the endgreat visual. exact frame of the throne with the weeping emperor and his dead eunuch crumpled…
Oooo but it was immediately followed by a snapshot of the next episode where they're in a bathtub together π So not entirely a cliff hanger πππ
Real-life women are way more nuanced then this superficial "cool lady who doesn't give a damn and goes against society's expectations."

I dreamt the leads kissing much more intensely than they did in this show π«£

Either it should increase or decrease now that the show has come to an end.
