Yeah, the whole plot with the roommate/ex and VP were mothing but filler to pad the run-time, I did not care about any of them

This was only good till episode 10, after that it was a confusing mess that even the characters in the drama didn't know how to explain away.

I just don't get why writers have this need to over-explain time travel or try to make sense of reincarnation, the best way to explain it away is to not explain it at all, just focus on the romance or the comedy.

Manhwa/Novel writers do this excellently, they just make some small mentions of how the main character got where they are for 1 or 2 chapter and then they never mention it again, they focus on the adventure, comedy or romance and the audience is having too much fun with the story to care about the why.

Why Shorter Formats Are Failing CreativelyThe "Rushed Ending" Syndrome: The single biggest complaint from…
I don't think that's the issue, like in this drama, if they hadn't wasted so much time on a stupid trinagle, they had more than enough time to do the office politic stuff, if anything it felt like they had too much time.

or look at the drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, the rushed edning suggests they didn't have enough time, but if you actually watch it, you can see that it wastes so much time on unimportant stuff and drags comepletely unnecessary or stupid plotlines, like the competition.

this was good until they added the stupid triangle with SML, really made it unwatchable for me, before that I was swooning and laughing my ass off almost constantly, but they threw all of that out the window to do a cliche sad/melo triangle at the end, I guess they ran out of ideas by that point and needed to pad the run time.

yeah, I think the backlash would have been a lot smaller if they had included it, which is bizarre cuz it's not like they ran out of time, they wasted so much time on the fod competition that even taking 15 minutes out of it would have helped the ending much more.

apparently ML's arrival is a lot more detailed in the novel, I haven't read it but someone that apparently did told me this:

ML ends up in the modern world after getting wounded and wakes up in some mountain, doesn't know what cars are and gets into an accident. the guy driving turns out to be a rich guy in the resturant business and uses the ML's handsomeness and taste buds for his company, ML agrees on the condition that they have to find FL for him, which turns out to be super easy cuz; internet, and boom they meet and the rest is like they showed in the drama.

If the frist 2 episodes didn't interest you then drop it, this isn't the tyoe of drama you want, this is just lighhearted comedy with some plot sprinkled here and there, it's not that deep
