It's just so stupid, at the time it was running on air there were other drama's fans that didn't like the fact that LR had a higher rating than that other drama that was also on the ir (I'm not gonna say which drama cuz I don't want the headache),and that's why they kept trying to review-bomb it with lower ratings.

that's why when you actually read their reviews, you can see how stupid they are or how their arguments don't make any sense, like the top review here on LR's front page that has a 2/10; it has a problem with how farfetched it is for an idol to fall for a fan and calls it delusional.

are we watching a documentary? are we glimpsing into someone's life like in The Truman Show?
since when is a fictional piece of entertainment supposed to be super real and close to our everyday lives?
these people behave as if they have no idea what the meaning of fiction or fantasy is.
not to mention, idols do in fact fall in love with ordinary people and some of them might even be fans. sure! it's rare, but it happens.

just this simple example is proof enough to show you how moronic these people are.

Yeah and it's not like they were that close before ML showed up, their families weren't friendly either, so SML just yelling and lecturing her was way out of line, someone should have yelled at him for being a useless police officer.

then after all that SML still had the audacity to lecture and threaten ML.

SML was quite an annoying character overall and the actor didn't really have a funny bone in his body so it made his scenes even more annoying, guess there is a reason why he never took off as an actor.

It's like they had enough for a 2-hour movie and had to stretch it for 12 episodes.

I don't think it will, a lot of people will forget what the plot of season 1 was in 5 years, on top of that it'll generate less new viewers cuz it's a second season.

look at house of the dragon season 2, it had a 20%drop, and it only took them 2 years to make the second season.

that would mean 5 years between the seasons, it's definitely gonna damage it's viewership

The reviews are by haters that wanted to bring the Drama's rating down, cuz they can't accept a rom-com getting a 9/10 but they failed and became salty, so all they can do is write a useless review🤣🤣

if we go by your logic then we know why the dude in LR was evil too, he wanted to kill people, and his character was the driving force behind the plot.

about the time travel stuff, it's been a while since I've seen the drama so I can't for sure say you're right or wrong but from what I remember FL found loopholes in the time-pause thing.

on a side note: this is a rom-com, the time-travel exists as a metaphor for the hands of fate that wants to bring these two destined lovers together, it's not meant to be that deep.

But if we want to deep it, time-travel in every from of media that has ever been written has loop-holes and plot-holes, look at Avengers endgame, it made almost $3 billion but it's time-travel is full of plot holes.

this drama has been universally praised for it's chemistry and has won several awards, so in that regard you have no leg to stand on.

as far as the villain goes; why is there a need for an explanation? sometimes people are just sick in the head, or they're just evil for the sake of being evil, I personally enjoy it more when a drama focuses on the main couple rather than waste time on a villain and try to justify their wickedness.
Sauron was evil as fuck and we didn't get any explanation for his evilness, and LOTR has been acclaimed as a timeless classic.

no explanation is better than a long ass explanation that would result in nothing but plot-holes and confusion

I really wanted to like this but after watching the first episode, I just don't feel like continuing, ML doesn't look like a high schooler at all, SML is already annoying me and I can tell they're gonna bore me with a stupid ass annoying triangle, and the plot is all over the place, is this a fluffy teen drama? is it a rom-com? is it a horror? CHOOSE A LANE

I read about that and there is no way I'm gonna bother watching it, it shouldn't even be a movie, it should be a long ass drama

there is a love-triangle, but the overall vibe of the drama is comedy so it's nothing too serious or annoying.
of course FL is gonna fall for ML, how else are you gonna have a rom-com?

Well, FL is a demon, she needs to go through her arc in order to change.

But ML being dumb about stuff is not going to really change, and as far as evidence goes, what do you expect the police to do? FL's crew are demons and are using magic to erase all evidence.

Yeah, I never understand why they feel the need to change fundamental parts of the story like this.

It's also quite moronic to do cuz the original author has obviously spent a lot of time trying to make sense of their plot, so changing it willy-nilly is obviously gonna result in plot-holes, then there is the fact that they are adapting a popular piece of writing, obviously there is a reason for that popularity, it doesn't just fall out of the sky, so changing the plot is again obviously going to damage it.

not much of a misunderstanding but FL did lie to ML and he becomes distant and tries to "find himself" after that for a couple of episodes, he also goes back to his original world for a while too and FL is sad without him.

don't remember which episode they got together, I don't keep track of stuff like that but it felt late.

The web novel's ending is very different, this drama's writer chose to do things her own way

Very very loosely, just enough so they can have sort of a sequel without it actually being a sequel.
