No trouble from the ex's? did we not watch the same drama? SFL tried but she was declined immediately but that annoying trash SML ruined the drama for me, he was constantly on FL's case and he wasn't taking no for an answer, then we had the mom trying to get them back together, then we had SML in ML's building intruding on their time together, then we had FL choosing SML to take her to the hospital? did you not see all of that?

I'm not saying it's bad, it's just that it's not as good or fulfilling as LR or the other dramas I mentioned, I tried to just recommend you great rom-coms with super happy endings and no BS.

I felt the exact same way, people downplay LR as if it's easy to make a great rom-com, and as you saw a lot of them are just overhyped borefests, they fail to just remain a rom-com, they have to add so many other stuff and by the end the rom-com aspects of the drama gets lost, even Business Proposal which I loved had an underwhelming ending.

Dramas that I was very happy with their endings:

1.Twinkling watermelon
2. It's okay to not be okay (a little heavy at times but happy ending)
3.Put Your Head on My Shoulder (very happy)
4.Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (SML can be a little annoying at times but it's super happy)
5.The Secret Life of My Secretary

just people that are jealous of LR's high rating and want to bring it down. if you haven't watched, I highly recommend it

their hatred has blinded them, I remember they were people here last year that were outright saying that they were hating on LR just because it was getting more praise than their fav drama at the time, some were QOT fans and sone were mentioning BL dramas that I'm not familiar with.

That's so true, they have zero argument so they just try to trash-talk about the drama's genre, like it's so easy to create such a magnificent rom-com, each year I watch so many rom-coms and almost 80% of them fail at being a rom-com, LR was quintessentially a perfect rom-com, it nailed the romance, it nailed the comedy, it had no annoying SML or stupid breakup for no reason out of the blue, it's time-travel wasn't a complete mess and it made sense in the context of the plot, they didn't try to absolve or overexplain the villain, and the leads were perfectly cast and had amazing chemistry, what more do these people want?

Because the writer is trash, she destroyed the original source material and wasted such a great cast, there is no great meaning to be found in her writing and this drama, whatever issue you find is just that: an issue and plot-hole that the incompetent writer created and cannot be explained away at all.
