thank you moonlight mystique! it was an amazing ride. this just reignited my love for xianxias again. it is one of the best written xianxias out there for me. plot is tight and well-written. a good one in a long time.
i was laughing the whole time the moment that argan arc came into the picture. like roflmao. guilt can sometimes make a man do crazy weird stuff in kdrama world. lol. i am never forgetting this drama because of that batshit crazy finale. hahahaha
Have rewatched twice. The majestic aura of the ml is very satisfying. He's such a night mare for the enemies. When…
Beyond the actors, who btw are the perfect picks for their roles, I super love the story so much. Despite not reading the novel, I believe both zhang jing yi and hu yi tian did their roles justice. The adaptation is so done well, it's an amazing watch. I felt like journeying with the Hua's as well. lol
i'm rewatching this today and it still gave me the same feeling the first time i watched it. this drama is so beautifully written for tv. I hope i can read the novel though. and omg, the OST!!!!! i put the ost in the same level as Joy of life S2 and Love between fairy and devil in the same playlist.
this drama is so toxic. if you have a small heart, dont watch. lol. all tropes are in this drama. you wont get bored, but you will get pissed. beginning to end. lol.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. the best comment! i love youuuuu! hahahahaha
no he is a literal definition of a simp and a cuck
i dont know if we're watching the same drama. but based on THIS drama, his character was portrayed as a competent official, whether it was in the past life or the present. it was a personal choice on his part to step back in the present - in terms of power and capability (as court official), because he married the woman he truly loves and which he lost in the past, it was also to avoid power struggles within his present marriage. right?? or do i not understand the story at all.
wow. as the drama wraps up till the final episode, i was able to appreciate more why things happened in such a way in the story. man burned himself to death. twas unexpectedly courageous. i give him that. overall, i love this drama.
gave me a whole new perspective on power, intentions and motivations, desires, love, and so much more. if you can't get past the villainy of the villain, or why certain characters behave in such a way, dude, you're missing a lot of things. open up that mind some more, try to delve deeper into what's implied, and go beyond what's literal. you'll find bits and pieces of incredible things to learn about life, love, and even the mundane things we usually take for granted.
i'll be missing pei wenxuan's selfless love the most. his character is the most green flag i've ever encountered. he's the kind of husband someone can only dream of. if ever there's one, that woman is certainly blessed by the universe and beyond.
everybody chill. mindset people, mindset. keep calm and don't mind the SML too much. he needs to be the villain to highlight the hero and his suffering, and the rest of the cliches we know in dramas. besides, only the 3 of them were reborn at the same time, it only makes sense he'll be the bad guy so the 2 leads can have a happy ending. right????? let's do this till the 40th episode. ok? jia you! jia you! lol.
wow!!! i was actually wondering what's the whole point of that scene and coming here to read the comments, i became…
story wise - it isn't bad. it's actually very easy to resonate with, especially those who are couples. im not complaining though. i love everyone in the drama even SRQ. i guess, if you are one of those who read the book, you might complain about the adaptation. however, you may have observed that the teleplay (like screenplay for movies) is noticeably messy. they've already wrapped this up. i think. so i guess there's no more room for improvement. :(
