Well, you get the feeling that there is so much more to come, it's only the beginning of the drama, after all. It feels more like a very long trailer 😂
But I don't regret watching it at all. Even in those eight episodes there were so many really memorable scenes and I absolutely loved the vibe and style of it all. You should just watch the first 15 minutes and see if it gets you hooked or not.

The subtitles on Youku international have no problem whatsoever. On other websites, the episodes have been fan subbed and the quality is pretty low. Watch the original, it also helps to let Youku know there are still people watching this.

The released episodes are rather faithful to the original (but oh boy, no novel can compare to Zhang Xin Cheng and Fu Xin Bo's looks). I'd still start from the beginning, otherwise it might be a bit confusing. I'm also reading the novel right now.

Yep, they really were on fire 🔥 in the first eight episodes. I just can't get the "alcohol + coffee" part out of my head. Everyone who's watched it for sure immediately knows what I'm talking about haha.

The thing is that these Chinese BL adaptions are insanely good, high quality and creative. Once you start watching, you naturally want more.

Yours is cool too! Jing Long was so cute in his costume, I nearly died from laughing when he appeared in this outfit. And why on earth was he wearing skates? Hahaha, it was just too cute and funny.

I came across this by accident. Oh my God, it's so funny! Really good editing. I laughed so muuuch. Really cool ❤️ And they are all super cute. I especially love the "Go" part in episode 1.

This looks so promising, I just can't wait for it to air. The costumes are so nice and it's wuxia. Cheng Yi + wuxia = killer. MLC was sooo good.

I personally think it's not really the fact that it's romance and that they are girls, it's just that their characters aren't written very well. Usually, when a girl appears in the story, the male character involved somehow gets dragged down and is torn between a clingy, weak crybaby (aka female love interest) and everything else he was going to do in the drama. I can't blame anyone feeling annoyed when a male character gets stuck with such a girl. On the other hand, when they write strong female roles and give the girls the opportunity to actually do something useful in the story instead of being a burden, people complain far less.

Oh my God, finally someone mentions his laugh. I couldn't believe my ears the first time I heard it, it was so unexpected! I LOVE it!

This drama is crazy, there is a super cute guy hiding under every freaking rock.

Thanks for the recommendations, I've added some of his dramas to my "to watch" list. Fangs of Fortune looks really promising, I love the genre!

Oh he is gorgeous. I didn't know him before, but instantly fell in love with him in Dashing Youth.

Him sitting there and waving his fan and STARING is one of the most amazing things I've seen in my whole life. No kidding.
