Thanks a lot for the long reply. I know he is low key but sometimes you still wonder if everything is fine. But I am happy. But still the trolls are still very bad hope it wi have an end someday, but I think there will always be haters... Sadly...

So I am not able to find English speaking forums who can explain to me so I regard this question here and hope someone can help and explain. Is his scandal or better say his kind of the ban on Chinese TV over? Like does he still gets a lot of attacks? I was so shocked as well. Saw the promo Pic from his studio's account on ig and then saw al 49 eps. And the worst is I don't have the time to bing watch. I rather enjoy two eps everyday haha

Thank you very much for the explanation. Then it makes sense why he has the Han hairstyle. And I am really happy about that, I think the Han hairstyle looks better on men. For women I think both hairstyles are pretty.

Can anybody tell me why Shawn dou's character has the Han hairstyle, is his character originally of Han ethnic?

On a side note, and I know it is random, but did jing Chao gain weight? Or is it the hairstyle or is it the direct comparison with Shawn dou, his face seems much smaller xD

Wow looks exciting. Another bai lu drama. And it is even historical, I like her in historical dramas more, seems to be a feisty character. Can't wait. Lai Yi is great too, finally a lead role for him. Alen Fang and Xu Mu Chan are great as well. Hope they have good supporting characters. Not annoying ones.

Not really. I think he had released a few songs back then. He was in the top ten in super boy. The season where hua chenyu won. But yeah he has developed into the actor career path. Oh well give him a chance he'll improve.... hopefully xD

I think it is not bad. Only at ep 4 yet, but it is quite entertaining. Funny and strong female lead, although a bit naive at times but it is fine. Both male lead and second male lead have a good character, Alan yu improved on acting.
And I really like ding mo's other novels, so have good expectations for this. Just try to watch a couple of episodes and decide for yourself.

So true. I don't get all the overly bashing. True he was bad in love last two minds, given his character was not easy to portray. Someone who's is emotionless but still some emotions, not easy to act. But his other dramas were OK. Anyway his is sure better in this one, but I think this is also thanks to the writing of ML character and personality.

I would love to spoil but it is way too different from the original novel. In the novel she seduced the emperor right away after she has been reborned in her sisters body. And then she entered the palace. It is not until then that she met ML again, and after plotting some revenge against the emperor and her concubine sister and her whole family actually she started to plot the ML way to the throne. It is quite different actually and not so romance centered. I mean we know she loves ML but she chose to hide that fact from him and just do her revenge and getting him the throne. FL was really cool in the novel, though gotta admit I am not done with the novel yet, but I remember it has a HE tag.

OK maybe I should have read the comments. So she will go in for revenge and turn badass. Iguess I am the only one who is enjoying that. Hahaha.... But this is how the real novel is. And not this fluffy romance. Anyway waring for mo xin to come back. Am only at ep 8.

Not so happy with the adaption. I mean the drama is fine but it is just so different from the novel. The FL was such an intelligent girl and bad ass in her way. Actually the ML was the gullible one. And here in the drama it is still so typical Chinese drama. Mary sue and her godly ML....
