Anyone who has read the novel, can you please tell me who Qi Min is in the book?
He is the legitimate heir of the throne. His father was the crown prince who along with ML's father died 16 years back in the battle. He was presumed to be dead, but was kept away from the palace. He is also the father of Qian Qian's son.
Buddy, hi there... How is this drama going, in your opinion? I'm currently watching another series with two seasons…
Hi, good to see you here. Its doing good, the characters, pacing all seems correct, the visuals and the direction is top notch. If you are struck with another one now, maybe you can complete that first. I am saying this because, for around 10-11 days, we have only one episode in schedule. Like express will not be before 26th or 27th, hence, maybe you can complete what you are watching, then start this. Also because this has a lot of characters with backstories for each with subplots, if you haven't read the novel, then you have to watch with good concentration and minutely. If you have the time you can start or you can just wait for a week, because honestly I will be very impatient only one episode next week so yeah.
Its not possible to redeem him. Because the actor is popular, many people love him, including me and both of them…
The drama has changed many things, but those are subplots. Changing his arc would change the main plot, climax and aftermath, that would highly displease the fans of the novel, I don't think they would go that way.
Will they redeem Qi min? The "toxic ship" agenda is all over twt lmao, the real book version is a monster.
Its not possible to redeem him. Because the actor is popular, many people love him, including me and both of them have a good tension onscreen, people might want the toxic ship to sale. Though the character Qi Min deserved a little sympathy for his past, but the character is beyond redemption. Its highly unlikely, and that would divert from the plot a lot a lot! So I don't think so.
If you don't mind spoilers!...I heard he's one of the two villains in this drama. He seems to have a pretty bad…
Nope, he can never turn positive. Ship him with her, I am doing it too, they have great tension, their relationship is very important for the plot, climax and aftermath but alas.....
She never saw his face, he wore a mask previously.
They did not spend time together. It was just one night, non consensual from both sides, both were drugged. Due to the drug they both don't remember anything of that night. Few days later they met, when she saved him from drowning, that's when he fell for her, but she couldn't recognize him. He realized later that it was the same woman. But she ran away then, hence he felt betrayed. Again its not her mistake, he was not a good person, he never wanted a child. She just wanted to protect her son from everything. Even the house where he lived, there were a lot of enemies, it was very complicated.
Is there some secret behind the identity of FL's parents? Who are they really? Thank you!
FL's father was a servant purchased by Wei Family, ML's mother's natal home. His name was hence Wei Qilin. He trained as an assassin and served under ML's father, along with prefect He Jingyuan, the old man shown in today's episode. FL's mother was Meng Lihua, daughter of Meng Shuyuan, another general who served under ML's father.
About Deng Kai's character. He is the father of Qian Qian's son, but it was not consensual, from both sides. Both…
I have sympathy for Qi Min because of his past. But he had become a terrible person, Qian Qian should not be forced to face repercussions due to his personality. More than anything, wanting the death of your own child, is terrible, regardless of your past.
Not his subordinate. She becomes a general but she doesn't serve under him. But yes ML's position initially was…
Yes they get separated, and after FL knows his identity she declares the marriage void because his name is different, and he lied, plus when they separated, she did give him a divorce letter, though he didn't take that or something. So yeah she decides that she should be something equal to him to marry him, so she joins the army. But after all their misunderstandings get cleared, all villains die, our leads get married. In the novel, they had some extra chapters of their married life, I don't know if the drama will show that.
He is also the father of Qian Qian's son.
