I really don't understand sometimes they don't even allow a simple kiss, hence magically curtains come up. They allowed this for a toxic couple, like this one was almost an abuse. I really think some directors really have their ways in the Censorship Bureau.
The story between Yu Qianqian and Qimin honestly makes me sick. That man is a monster, a psychopath, a murderer,…
I don't know what the drama would show about their first night or her conceiving Bao'er. But in the novel, they both were drugged and forced to sleep together to conceive a child, yes BOTH of them. So technically Bao'er is not a product of rape by Qi Min. Other things you said- absolutely true. This is not romance, this is abuse, poor Qian Qian is forced to submit to him for her son, he is monster, deserves no redemption, just merciless death.
If Qian Qian didn't submit, Bao'er would die. It's not that hard to understand.
Exactly, blaming a victim is so bad. Changyu had a father who taught her martial arts. Poor Qian Qian was a orphan, she has no such skills. She is a mother, alone with her child. She is doing everything to protect her child.
Can someone help me understand who exactly are the 2 prince Sui? I have some difficulties to understand. Are they…
Sui brothers are sons of Prince Changxin. Prince Changxin is from the same empire. Prince Changxin was a cousin of the previous emperor, or someone related to the royal family, but he doesn't have a right on the throne as such. He has his sons want power/throne, hence attacking the royal regime and its military. Qi Min is pretending to be elder Sui brother, he has a secret identity. That is why Bao'er being his son becomes the next emperor.
According to the preview Qi Shu is at the camp and gets scolded by ML. Lol its like an elder brother screaming at you, she was correct telling her mother that he is like a big brother hence not a marriage prospect. So now she is at the camp so we will get to see her and Gongsun Yin? Good. This is a change from the novel I like.
So cute, and there are hundreds of bts, and I am not tired watching each of them. All 3 of them also play in a forest like area, just like a real fam but that's just off screen, when the filming starts, its Qi Min traumatizing them again. Huhh.
I might have missed this because I am not so much into QianQian's story line, but who is Bao'er's father?
Qi Min is the father. Qian Qian, Bao'er and Qi Min's storyline forms an important part of the drama in the later episodes. It connects with the main story.
I am very scared of Qi Min, it was not like that while I was reading, I was just disgusted, maybe I couldn't visualize properly. But now whenever he comes on screen, even if he pretends to be weak, I get so scared. He is traumatizing Bao'er along with the audience.
Deng Kai the actor you are!!
For my therapy I am watching Deng Kai playing around with the young actor who plays Bao'er in behind the scenes, in the same costume. What stark contrast!
