Because a lot of people can not distinguish between characters and acting. And this is a serious issue I seen all over MDL. People hate or like actors because of the characters instead of appreciating the work they do :(

Yes, in the novel they return to commoner life and have kids and live 27 years as per the spell. Their grand grand daughter becomes the FL in Mirror of twin city and their tomb stone is shown there too. Novel is connected.

My understanding is he is alive. In the scene he has shadow - illusions do not cast shadows and do not appear from behind. Then he could not die as he is bound by the blood lifesharing span spell with ZY. So as long as she lives he lives too, they live and die together same time. The last see is at wishes tree. This is also connected with her telling all the wishes she had from him and his line prior that if she really wishes for something she will retrieve what is lost. Also the story is a prequel of the Mirror of twin cities drama. There is mentioned ZY and SY lived and died together and the FL there is great granddaughter of SY and ZY, so they had kids, also according to novel. Hope this clarifies it for you.

Update : After SuspiciousFlowerbuyernr9 and me provided examples and data/proofs MDL admin just confirmed they checked and made adjustment to the weight of criteria and they will further make adjustments on how they decide the top airing list. We shall watch if the situation changes in future and the correct Top airing based on data will be listed from now on. So this confirms we all were right in our observations of the incorrect system. @SuspiciousFloerBuyerNr9 we did a good team 😁

Ok, got it :) For me I was expecting a God situation to appear and the story to evolve that way reading about the novel and beeing a prequel of the Mirror of the Twin cities. For a xanxia it had very few immortal scenes so I did not felt it was given all at once. Thanks for your explanation!
