Shame
Thought this would be a gripping drama but sadly it felt disconnected. Surprising since there were only 8 eposodes so why so many storylines .The main story of the mall collapse featured at the beginning and end and we had other stories that just didnt carry much weight. All the characters lacked backstory, seemed to exist in isolation and acted coldly to others so many times that when they came together as a group it felt false .The premise an award wining show and anchor should be relegated due to family relationship over the story they exposed was weak.
I loved the main actor for his acting and was upset to learn midway through he died which meant continuing watching it was hard. I did find it hard to empathise with him as his character however and for this I blame the writers. He berated his team alot and although he did guide them at times he didnt do much investigative work himself and Mr Shin seemed to have more of an impact on the teams success.
Overall i just didnt feel much empathy for any of the characters who often put the news before their own family, friends and informers. The whole issue over mr shin was overly dramatic and unbelievable.
The bullying of rookies was uncomfortable viewing and again with the writer case unbelievable - why hire her then use her as a babysitter? Just too many ridiculous occurances in this drama.
So overall I cant recommend youvto watch.

Oh dear what a mess! There were so many repeated actions particularly of the two main leads breaking up and reuniting. Their relationship didnt make much sense- she was too immature for a relationship to start - did become more believable as the series continued and she stopped dressing and acting like a teenager!Cant believe how many times she forgave him for his deception as to his identity let alone being caught kissing the villainess! Plus the self sacrifying always forgiving female is just too saccharine sweet for my taste.
She did act well but the male lead was one hell of a tortured soul and his actions and monotone acting hard to take.
Plus the villainess got off without any consequences- after all she did? Isctgete no justice system in china?!!reoentance is not suffucient!
Really whole story just dragged along and at crucialnpoints just seemed to skip detail/explanation when it was needed.

Interesting
A really interesting portrayal of the two cities/cultures and of traditional medicine. Refreshing as the story was character driven and had none if the usual plot lines or characters in k or c dramas - most refreshing!I loved the two female characters - Jo was always strong and I loved her, NianNian grew on me as she developed and matured into a strong, confident woman - just took her a while!
However the two men? First time I didnt want the females to end up with the men! Even though they too matured it took 18 episodes for Jo's man and frankly I could not accept their pathetic, immature, selfish past behaviour. They couldnt cut it when times were hard so what hope for future troubled times? Also worst kissing 💋 I've ever seen in any drama !! Also Niannian and Ryans story was abandoned for several episodes- and was only given hope in the last scene. But as I said I wasn't too bothered with their relationship! With 3cpast marriages he was pretty unreliable anyway!
At times the drama used flashbacks and strange tactics to flesh out the drama and there was often discontinuation from one episode to another and even scenes - but the gist of it remained!
NianNians family were great. All the characters were flawed at times but this drove the drama and made them believable.
Worth watching for the women!

A superb drama! Acting just so good by everyone - two leads were just so natural and believable- wonderful chemistry. Nana was just standout- such an expressive face conveying all emotions so well and such a lovely laugh! Same with park Sung- hoon - great to see his character soften as his relationshio with Nana developed and again so believable.Story flowed nicely and was laugh out loud funny so many times! Plus for once the bad guy wasn't forgiven - so refreshing!
Well worth watching!

A superb drama- so well written and the actors were just so good! A really great and unusual story which had me gripped from the first to last episode. The main female character was so well drawn- her back story and development so beautifully told. So good to see a nuanced and strong female character. The stories of the other employees were equally fascinating. The cinematography was beautiful, her outfits stunning.You will cry many times but so worth it! Thete is nothing to dislike in this drama and everything to love!

Pathetic!
Possibly the worst drama I have watched. The acting was great but the characters were a mess and I could not engage with them. FL just the worst - drowning in self pity , literally in alcohol. Just a pathetic mess. I gave up watching as I just didn't care about her. She avoids any meaningful communication by drinking, sleeping, walking across busy roads! As usual chases the ML in the first part - how old is she?!! 32? Please more like 12!The amount of drunkeness in this drama is just unbelievable - for adults to behave like this is just dismal. Totally unfunny and hardly giving young viewers role models.
All characters are simply dysfunctional and unlovable.
Dont waste your time watching this!

Just Don't!
Oh dear what to say. Everything about this just stinks! Bizarre plot lines based on ml and fl childhood pasts, his stint in a security force, her business.Just know who the villain will turn out to be pretty early on. The ml and fl relationship is noncommunicative and based on his childhood love for her which is flimsy to say the least. Plus with his ptsd and lack of self worth what sense does it make that he believes he can protect her in a marriage where they meet on the wedding day!!!Most of her loved ones incl ml lie to her in one way or another- all in her best interests of course! Incl loving, dying granny!
Ml is just aggravating in how he acts around her for most of the series - do not find his behaviour endearing nor his facial expressions attractive. She is a cold fish and its hard to see anyone warming to her. She was only appealing with her ex who left her in the typical dont explain but come back once he had proved himself scenario - actually i did prefer him to the ml!
After dragging out the business plot in ever more bizarre ways whole thing relocates to scene of his past for evermore ludicrous scenarios. Once back home and thinking it was the last episode witnessed a horrendous birthday party to expose his true feelings - what? Why? As if there was any need. I would have been angry beyond words.
So to my horror another 5 episodes to reveal all.Sorry that party was the last straw for me after fast forwarding for so much of this series as it was. I feel no interest or love for any if the characters and cant be bothered to see the predictable conclusion.
Most disconnected, ill thought out premise and plot lines with unappealling characters and nonsensical scenarios its ever been my mistake to watch! Rrally dint waste your time!

So many relationships in this drama and most of them irritating and not credible! Really don't know what the writers were thinking of - so many dislikeable characters! The main couple are cute but for the first 10 episodes just bizarre plot that once resolved makes no sense! Seriously what man would act in this sensless way to save a girl- did so much damage to her and her parents.The FL ex is delusional and despicable yet he keeps cropping up spewing the same nonsense and expecting FL to take him back? Writers what world are you living in?
Tha background of FL and Ml re business is just downright confusing and boring. Enter her line manager in typical vengeful jealous mood - what a tired trope.
The 3 female friends are just bizarre- the dr is set up to have a relationship with a musician who is so soft he almost melts! Very nice but so not her type! The other friend is a weak pushover who I cant believe is a teacher she is so naive- plus meddles in her friends lovelife. The final friend is simply a bitch - not attractive at all- so full of herself.
I am fast forwarding most episodes as just despair of the storylines and am irritated by the characters.
Why did BinBin sign up to this mess? Are there no better chinese dramas?
I hate to leave something once I start it but the whole thing is an intensely irritating mess!

Confused
I can see many loved this drama and im failing to see quite why! The settings are beautiful as are the actors but the love between the two I'm failing to grasp. I know their past lives and the connection but in this life he is so wooden and uncommunicative and the lack of physical affection so far just makes him out to be a manboy. I understand his childhood and IQ have left him socially isolated but is she just going on his looks and name?!!! After all her past memories so far have not shown him! Im trying to enjoy it as a light romance but its pretty unbelievable the speed to the wedding given he cant even hold a conversation with her and his obsession with her showering time is bizarre to say the least - definitly a love like no pther!I'm hoping as the series continues she thaws him out and the series gets more interesting!

So far
Just started this drama d so far its rather good! Rather slow but its gentle and characters are building nicely. Has many interesting discussions on romance, what nakes a good relationship, how its difficult for strong, successful women to find a partner.Am interested to see how this develops when FL ex comes back in the picture! So far tantilising glimpses into what their relationship was like and why/ how they broke up.
Finding age difference between Fl and ML a little too much as he really is young although very caring.

Fluffy
A fluffy romance story which has a fairly strong female lead trying to makr her own way against fathers and fiances advice. Fiance cheats so now she is trying to find her way without getting tangled up with sexy work boss who seems to be a womaniser.I like how the FL is determined but am sick of all the familiar tropes- drunken FL looked after by boss, multiple falls and saved in the rain scenes, arm grabbing and dictatorial sillyness. There is very little to the plot and its not very exciting. Oh and younger brother with crush on her friend and young woman chasing the boss. I mean how many times are chinese writers going to overuse these themes?
Im fast forwarding just to see what happens but am not engaged by this series.

Irritating!
I really wanted to like this drama and Ilike the storyline but am struggling for two reasons -first the female lead is intensely irritating! She acts like a teen /ingenue, with an irritating chuckle. She is supposed to be the lead of a circus? I dont find her endearing or comedic, and many of her scenes with Robin are so sickly sweet its nauseating! Just how old are these two supposed to be? Just too childish for words. I'm not blaming the actors but the writers! She is beginning to show more character and maturity then along comes Robin and she regresses. The puppet scene was beyong cringe making!I also found the male leads physical grabbing and pushing offensive - I do not like this particular behaviour in so many korean dramas. Violence towards women is just wrong and should not be seen as acceptable.
I just cant seem to engage with this drama - am beginning to fast forward thru the fl scenes just to get thru the story which is not developing fast enough! There is plenty of mystery surrounding how the ML got to be how he is but its dragging!
Oh and the music is also cloying in its sentimentality!

Oh dear
This series did not match up to the great writing of the original. It was slow, repetitive with flashbacks, with no sense of anticipation. I was frankly bored and fast forwarded just to get as far as i did! It was just so saccharine sweet and I really felt nothing for the lead characters and didnt care if they got together - even their first kiss left me unmoved. There was no chemistry evenbthough the lead actor was lovely and acted well with what heceas given.The FL i just didnt get- supposed to be older but acted immaturely with her drinking - she just felt one dimensional.
I didnt mind the character changes and could understand the same time period as the first squid drama but though I didnt enjoy the gaming of the first series but liked the robot theme even less!
Watchvghe first series and givecthis a miss unless you like long lingering looks, flashbacks and no discernable story!!

Too soon to tell
Well Im not yet engaged by this series. Yang zi's character is being portrayed like Sherlock Holmes in her perception and assessment of situations and there is an annoying visualisation of information which she swipes through. She is coming over as caring to those in difficulty but rather cold and analytical in person.Everything is rather choppy as it goes between scenes and charactets- its as if the director is trying too hard to be different.
Lets see if the series improves and begins to gain a sense of direction. At the moment there are several intimated past difficulties and charactersxwhose role and motivation is not yet clear.
Episode 8
Im really not feeling this drama. I find the psychological sessions laughable - one session and all is solved? He Dan is strong but unbending and static in both her character and how Yang is acting. Maybe she will become softer but not sure I can wait for it!
The mysterious neighbour is acting stealthily but so far no intimation i of why and I fear that the reason easin may be ludicrous as the rest of this drama so far. So didappointing as i love her in her other dramas.

Oh my life where do I start! Another marriage contract romcom - why?!! This is the equivalent of a Mills and Boon romance novel. Full of the usual tropes and then some! Falling, accidentally lip meeting, drunk FL, 2 ML who fell in love as a child with her and been looking for her ever since, the list is endless! Plus the overbearing ML who manipulates, bullies and constantly grabs and physically looms over the FL. Rampant sexism.When are the chinese writers ever going to make something original and representative of life in the 21st century.
This is not original, funny or interesting- the actors and actresses deserve a better stroryline as they are natural and good at their craft.
