Same! It's a rebirth novel, but clearly they don't use it, so what's the point?

I'm bout to start the 6th episode, and I'm wondering where the rebirth part comes in.

I found out Pihanjin was getting a drama, and I was all ready to cry on TikTok about how it's unfair that Thousand Verdant Mountains was the only Peng Lai Ke novel that wasn't going to be a drama. Good thing I came looking.

It was a great read. I hope they make the drama

Somebody told me there was a second one, but I haven't come across it as yet. Now I know to go look for it.

I’ve probably seen this, simply because I’ve watched what feels like every version of the sister husband swap

after watching A Splendid Match, I think Ci Sha would be great as the male lead

go back and try the novel again. I promise it’s worth the it

i read the novel after watching and am currently doing a rewatch. if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s pretty faithful except for the obvious edits, and the Japanese pirate plot is absent. They also do the reveal different, have 1 less villain, and I think the drama is kinder to a few characters in comparison to the novel. it’s very good imo.

coming back to say that those last five episodes pissed me off. I don’t recommend reading the novel first.

what is up with this trend of not going through with rebirths? I can understand not using a transmigration, but this story has like 3 versions of one life - it’s damn near the authors MO - why not make use of them?!!!
