When I first started this Chinese drama, I was drawn in by the promise of an enemies-to-lovers plot, a beloved trope for good reason. However, as I delved into the story, the characters didn’t quite hit the mark the way I had hoped. While the relatively fresh-faced cast gave a respectable effort, the writing didn’t allow the characters to shine in any meaningful way.

That said, not all was lost. The drama’s light and fluffy college romance setting was enjoyable enough to keep me invested, despite the slow start.

Interestingly, the drama didn’t hit its stride until episodes 10-13, where the pacing picked up, and the emotional stakes finally started to land. If you’re looking for an easy, light-hearted romance with some sweet moments, it’s worth giving this drama a shot. But be warned: if by episode 5 it hasn’t captured your heart, it might be time to move on to something else.

While this drama has all the classic ingredients of a contract marriage romcom, the personalities and values of the characters give it a refreshing twist. The Thai adaptation, in my opinion, does a much better job bringing the story to life.

I won’t miss this drama. I didn’t love it. In the end, it definitely wasn’t a match for my DNA.

The leads seemed mismatched from the start. I had second lead syndrome the whole drama and it just seemed the chemistry was way more convincing between the FL and the SML.

I caught myself multiple times trying to fast forward through this drama in hopes of finishing it due to my OCD tendencies not allowing me to quit once I started. Otherwise, I probably would have dropped this because it seems the writers miscasted the right characters and wrote the storyline haphazardly.

This drama started off as a light-hearted and laugh-out-loud ride, filled with cute moments and quirky humor. But as the story unfolded, it left me frustrated, especially with an ending that felt like a huge letdown.

As Uji tries to navigate his love life, he begins to see himself differently. Where he once viewed himself as an overthinking oddball, Sabae points out that his quirks are actually part of his charm. With every interaction, you find yourself rooting for Uji and Sabae to finally recognize what’s right in front of them.

However, just when you think it’s building up to that big romantic breakthrough, the drama leaves you hanging. The final scene shows Uji and Sabae walking off together after a night of drinks with friends, with no real resolution. Does Uji finally realize that Sabae is the one for him, or does his newfound confidence lead him back to Sakurai? The writers leave it all up in the air, making for one of the most frustrating endings I’ve seen in a long time!

So many people were bad wrapping it, but I truly didn't think it was terrible. I thought the main couple were cute together. I've personally seen way worse.

I’ve been hearing all kinds of buzz about Love Andante—some good, some not so much. With opinions all over the map, I decided to dive in and see for myself. Will this drama live up to the hype, or crash and burn?

So far, I'm 5 episodes in and I have found it rather slow paced, but still entertaining. The two men that run Peace Village are comical and have such great chemistry.

I feel like if they had maybe 12 episodes the romance story line for the leads would have felt a bit more natural. It feels like they went from enemies to almost lovers in 0 to 60 seconds...lol However, I'm enjoying their cute and sweet moments so far.

I stumbled across this drama on Dramazen while trying to find reviews and episode recaps to see if it was worth watching. This is more of a light and fluffy type drama to kill time when you are bored.

This isn't as bad as some dramas I've watched, but the iffy subs can be trying at times. However, it's not so bad that it's not watchable. The first two episodes were kind of slow, but by episode 4 it started to pick up some. The leads started displaying a nice chemistry and the story line was somewhat interesting.

I'd say give it a try and you just might be pleasantly surprised! 🥰

This drama is shaping up pretty nicely so far! As a fan of Shin Min-ah, my expectations were pretty high going in, and I’m pleased to say the show hasn’t disappointed. I’m about 75% hooked on the characters and storyline, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here. 🥰

If I were in the female lead’s shoes, my people-pleasing instincts might have pushed me to be kind to those kids—after all, they’ve been through a lot too. But deep down, I know I would’ve secretly resented both my parents and those kids for the way things turned out.
