I'm so hooked. The story is so refreshing the couple is just lovely with each other and more natural than in the novel which I really like. I agree I never liked her in previous roles but here she is so cute sweet and captivating. Same for ZLH I liked him in LBFD but after that either the stories or his characters were not my cup of tea...like he is very good looking but lacked charisma...but here the styling really suits him and the role as well. It really shows it needs a good story for actors to shine sometimes. I really like the setting of making the FL a commoner . So the clash between politics of the upper class and how it affects the lower classes is really shown also shows how removed they are from reality. And I need more dramas in winter time...its sooo pretty.
I think this shows depicts cheating as too onesided as if women are always victims to cheating men when the truth is women cheat just as much as men...I hope the shoe will adress this az dome point.

I think we talk about different things...I knkw why Hong Ye does what he does but I dont think his guolt is that great but be that as it may. My point is the drama is about humans and demons not getting along and hoe to bridge that gap...Yuli Spring is but one of the things that causes conflict. But the drama makes it seem as if hong yes sacrifice signifscntly changed something between humans and demons and I disagree with that. I Think appart from him yuli spring disappearing and the leads sacrificing nothing changes...the world is not a better place after..at least thats what I think from every sinde story we had in the drama since most of them were not directly about Yuli Sping.

Thanks for saying that...also yuli spring is a standin for unattainable desires and hopes even without it humans will fight for something else they cant have. If the world is bend on fighting and giving in to desires without taking responsibility for their actions the existance or not existance of yuli spring changes nothing...but typical xianxia had the hero sacrifice for a world which was never worthy of his sacrifice. humans didnt learn and remained resentful and demons too...they never learned to trust and to leave past grievances behind...it was only ever HY and XY which were able to basically look past race. So in the end the only good people suffer for a world that didnt learn a thing. So unsatisfy ing.

I understood that but to me thats cosmetic fixing...if they dont fifht over Yuli Spring they will find the next Yuli Spring type thing and they fight again. Also the reason why humans and demons fight was not because of Yuli Spring. They fought without cause and Yuli Spring onlybecame one additional reason...I feel sacrificing for that is pointless and unsatisfying. HY already atoned for 5000 years thats enough people should find it in themselves to take responsibilty for their actions after a time...but xianxia stories often end with pointless sacrificies of the heros for undeserving people...this was just one of them.

I disagree yuli spring was never the problem. All these negative things in demoms and humans always existed. They did not come from the spring but it made them persue it because of it...humams will always be greedy etc. And apparently demoms will always habe a superiority complex...the dynamic was those who are in power treat the outgroup like shit...be it demons to humans or the other way around. The issue is that groups other others and externalize their faults and thus blame others for their own problems. The disappearance of yuli spring does not make that go away at all....i feel the writer didnt really understand how living creatures work...by eliminating yuli spring their natures arent changed at all...i dont see how the conflict magically disappears which is unchangable nature of all beings and those problems preceeded the existence of yuli spring. In the end it felt like the drama also externalized blame und put it on yuli spring. People will always want what they dont have and ask for the impossible. Yuli spring made the impossible possible...now its gone it doesnt mean people will stop looking for the impossible.
In ep 4 around 18:10 min...when they stand by the tree...I think JBZ is being dubbed for a couple of sentences by a voice actor then back to HMH own voice....did anyone else notice? What happened here?

I miss his old blue and red clothes...the new darker ones are ok too but light gold and orange doesnt look as good on him...As far as I understood it he stays at Yaguang Mountain but can easily travel where he wants so he isnt stuck in one realm. He also doesnt stay crown prince...since he married MY again I think he will move now?

Yes I was so glad it was not rushed..at first I was sceptical whether they pull one of those "happy endings" where they show the side charavters to exess and leave 30 sec for the MLs...Thankfully this was not the case it was really satifsying and beautiful..and JBZ beggingnto marry was kinda from the novel but better they made it cute not pathetic...Didn't care much for SL...he was kind of a mirrir for JBZ...JBZ suffered greatly but stayed good and true and knew how yo forgive so he was able to move forward. SL blamed the world and everyone who didnt love him and finally decicded to destroy the world. In comparison he had it a lot less bad than JBZ but he never grapsed the concept that you cannot buy other peoples affection...SL helped a lot earlier but he always expected a payoff...JBZ never did...so SL is the answer to what would have happened if JBZ had gone dark and given up on the world
