I just made it past ep 8 (first kiss....which was super hesitant, sensuous, and filled with so much promise).. This is definitely a SLOOOOOOOOOOW BURN. ;D I usually like slow burns (if done right), but I also know it is so not most people's thing. Now the side couple is super FAST and very interesting :D

I'm on ep3 and it feels like a slooooooooow burn. But I can't say yet. Ep 3 you start to see hints of affection...... but there is a backstory that we don't have full picture of yet...... I'll try to finish and come back. I am at lease intrigued enough with the story to finish it since it is a short series (I am used to chinese dramas :D
The domestic abuse ep was cringe when the guys was like "I'll get sober and be better". I rolled my eyes so hard at that....but at least they made that idiot go off to the city so his wife could be free. I hope he never comes back :D

Ikr.... . BL is a way to get rid of the burdensome sexist tropes that hetero romance often has. BL usually gives more equality without the added sexist baggage. But sometimes..... you get surprised :D
I feel like this series would have been great as 10 eps. Not sure why so long. It has some fun scenes. Lots of cheesy, cliche moments. Gorgeous lead couple and second couple. I love the 4 actors in this. They are really the only thing that got me to finish it :D Worth a watch to enjoy the actors; just don't think too much about the details (some big loopholes). Maybe watch with a glass of wine :D
