Do they understand that The Rational Life has 35eps? Cause are you telling me they are going to squeeze that great story into 12 ep 🤔🤨unless, they veer far away from the original or skip some parts of the story. One of the best parts about OG is you can see the FL character growth both in work and love without any rash. Each step is intentional which makes all her decisions very thoughtful and realistic. Usually I would skip the office politics and focus on the romance but in this, I wanted to see it all cause it is as important. Talking about the relationship in the OG, it was the most slow-paced and yet very realistic that in the end I was thoroughly convinced that noone else would be better for her or him. So I seriously wonder how they are going to pull this off in the K-remake with 12 eps. 🤔
This is the one drama I NEVER wish for the 1st FL character to end up with the 1st ML character at all....may this type of love never finds me. When will people learn...Marry a man that loves you not that will learn to love you 😔 😕

This bowl of candy just came and wrecked havoc in my heart for all the good reasons. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a family drama with BL included. Yes this story is about the whole family, their day to day mundane life routines and with the youngest in the family navigating love for the first time to someone he initially thought he shouldn't fall for. I just love how grounded everything is and lovely everyone is too....💞
This drama is like peeling an onion....The more eps. we watch, the more we learn about about our leads and co. which is fun. So Luan Nian wants to feel safe and Zhi Tao wants to feel secure in this relationship. Who knew these two seemingly similar words could be differentiated here 🤔 Me wondering, if that's the case why oh why would you opt for a Situationship...talk about a recipe for disaster. Zhi Tao doesn't address her concerns or whatever she is thinking hence retreats or avoid instead. When Luan Nian senses that he goes on offense or defense mode. E.g. how he reacts after the answer to the "is she your girlfriend- ZT =No". After seeing LN with his family, you can see how lonely he feels...well that desert analogy was spot on. He relies on himself and that super independence led him to isolate. It's a survival mechanism which works but doesn't mean it's healthy. And he knows that. So what he wants is someone who makes him feel safe and relaxed, not feel like he is carrying the world on his shoulder. And that is lacking with Zhi Tao cause her insecurities are creating uncertainty and we all know people like LN don't want that. Overall, the main issue is, you can not get safety from an insecure person..unfortunately. On the other hand, Zhi Tao is someone who wants to feel secure hence show and tell should be the remedy e.g. clear communication, reassurance. But because her behavioural response is to flunk off LN at any chance something bothers her instead of address, his responses make her feel even more insecure. And the thing is, until you feel like you're good enough in yourself, noone else is gonna make you feel that secure. Miss Childhood friend...gal bye. Another problem for Luke is his boundaries are crooked when it comes to relationships 🙄. Nowonder these crazy women from the past drive him nuts cause he is poor at healthy boundaries. So Luke has experience and I bet he has seen his fair share of women throwing themselves on him and very few are genuine. Then he meets this girl who seems different...Why...well she is not from the city, doesn't appear materialistic, but young and pure and that got him attracted. No doubt he likes her; I mean those qualities he listed to Alex says so but it is the above that makes him attracted to her. The problem now with Luke is, his radar is up and constantly looking for what if which explains why he immediately followed up on that baseless comment from his friend and try to make amends with an expensive bag...after all, maybe that's based on past experience. I'm guessing his problem is gonna be either trying to shield her from everything whilst trying to make her stay the way she is or his doubts about the person she becomes with time. Now, for Zhi Tao.. bless her. She just fell in love at first sight and the man she has been fantasising in her dreams suddenly say "do you wanna....😉" and all logic is out of the window. I mean we all been there done that, got tshirts. The issue with her is in the way she handles things after which actually shows how green she is on this. All 4 eps. done and what do I think... Well I can't wait till they start the relationship and see all their smexy smouldering scenes. After all these two are super attracted to eachother....She fell first and he is falling harder. The mystery is how the hell will they keep this relationship under wraps with the way their eyes search for eachother in every room. Like I can feel the tension even when their 10metres apart so how busy are their colleagues that they will not notice these two 🤔 Other than that, there isn't too much to the story and if anyone is looking for a slice of life, this definitely ain't it. I have tried to like Lil Jane and still failing 🤦I just can't. Reason: The way he treats P'Jane can be very cruel. 1)So he got with P'Jane despite everyone else's preventing him to. 2) He listens to the rumours etc and finally started having trust issues. 3) He cruelly breaks up with P'Jane 4) Suddenly he is acting moochy moochy with Dan 5) Something happens to Jet and he crawls back to P'Jane for help 6) He agrees to P'Jane's conditional help and yet soon after he gives him the cold shoulder 7) His besty died soon after he had tried to force him....8) He immediately blames P'Jane just cause "besty" whispered that name 9) He cruelly dumps P'Jane 10) Meets P'Jane again after whatever years and wants him back cause now he knows the truth 11) He sees P'Jane talking on the phone or random people and trust issues crops up again so P'Jane has to reassure him 12) He tells P'Jane never to dissappear again and they won't separate. 13) Something happened with Jet and immediately he turns his blame to P'Jane 14) Realised this time it's different and yet he needs to blame P'Jane somehow so he leads with cold shoulder 15) Him and his family accept P'Jane's proposal after all- Why cause it's more than what the bank is offering 16) He packs his bags and tells P'Jane he needs tim e apart 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Like talk about Hot and Cold treatment...Gaslighting Promax. Lil Jane loves a certain version of P'Jane that's in his head not the real P'Jane. So when the real clashes with his imagination...that's a problem. Nowonder his love for P'Jane comes with conditions. Whereas P'Jane's love comes with desperation hence why he accepts even bread crumps from Lil Jane. Why- cause that's better than having nothing at all. P.S. You all who like Lil Jane...good for you cause that's my opinion so leave me alone 😑
