If she lied then, I can sigh with relief cause at least she still has brain. I mean the writing was written on the wall, so I'm struggling to empathise with her plight cause she fell into a pit she was staring at even with everyone's warning to watch out. So call me a b*** but I don't feel anything for her. She has to learn the hard way, I guess. As for PL's stupid husband, he deserve that divorce because I don't think he actually understands what he did wrong, neither do his parents. So sir, you need time alone to think, reflect, take accountability or continue whoreing youself out....be my guest but leave this woman alone. I have been neutral on Director KJ cause sometimes he appeares as mister know it all or preachy and I tend not to like people like that very much. However in these ep. he won TYY and myself over....hehe All I gotta say, only in dramas would they tolerate such nonsense from a staff especially one that affects the business operations. In my company she will be fired first and then I will help...in that order.

Oh I love your take too on this. "She has said twice or thrice "you really don't understand women" - so she doesn't feel he gets her at all, and she doesn't particularly like him ......" This part you said just reminded me of avoidant behaviour in psychology. Here TYY is using a generalised statement on her boss to block him from probing. Which is also her way of saying "you don't know me, you don't get what I've been through, nobody does" hence you don't understand women. Again a defense mechanism. Like you at first I thought the malice she hold was from that report he made against her but the more we see, I think nooo, it's deeper than that. Remember when they were in the car and she finally told her boss why she became frantic to look for the baby. Her boss tried to empathise and sooth her pain but you could see from her response that she still thinks he doesn't get it. And in a way, she is right, nobody gets exactly what you went through but then you can't let that rule your trust in people. Love this character cause she is sooo me and its like holding a mirror sometimes when I see her actions. Anyway, I could go on and on but will stop now. P.S. love that Tshirt slogan 😄
I gotta ask, is it that hard to have a lead with a normal husband in these dramas 🤔😏 Like, why do these husbands got to be either cheating bastards, abusive or have some obsession of having a male child. I have a love hate relationship with Tang Ying Ying and maybe because her defense mechanism is soo me...hehe TYY is a lone wolf but with heart. It's like she is inherently kind but consciously rude and mean sometimes for self preservation. I like her and her boyfriend but it seems she likes that he likes her and not that she loves him. He feels safe for her, whereas her boss makes her uncomfortable hence the reason why she is constantly on a defense and offense with him. It's like he sees through her and she doesn't like that. Been there done that, got a tshirt. I also like her sister senior lawyer hence why I'm mad at her stupid husband. Like dude, do you have to go sleep with different woman in search of a male child 🙄 😒 I get the intent but hate the method. Why couldn't he discuss with his wife first about surrogacy etc and not whoreing himself out there. So now that his wife is pregnant, then what. Oh and what if that girl get pregnant too, then what. He better pray that nothing happens to his wife's pregnancy or else 🤬 Then we have the Assis. Lawyer who is too naive for my liking 🙄 Like why do some women invest sooo much in guys whom they not married to..like why. Even if you're married to him, ain't no way would I for one run around the market to get some fish and cook it for him and some friends instead of sleeping. Okay this was a doozy...really enjoyed it. Sometimes you don't need perfect to enjoy the show...even with all the flaws, there is still some enjoyment to feel. And that's this drama. Now, did I eye-rolled every character in this at some point =Yes However, Kang U Seong (such a sweet person and Gold Boys leader) the songs incl. OST, Sae Na's suits and those deliciously looking kisses made me forget everything else. And for that, I'm happy 😊
If there is one person I think is soooo underated and deserves Global recognition, its SHS. This woman, given the right script, she will blow your mind. Her acting in Mr Queen will forever be iconic. And I have no doubt she will deliver in this too. After watching the trailer, I'm getting "Dear X" vibes by KYJ due to the dark, satirical feel to it. I hope this one remains brilliant all the way.

So I've been on holiday and only to be back and realised I missed a whole f****ng drama...like a whole series 😯 Gone are the days when I would climb on top of the highest mountain closer to heaven almighty and pray for another ep. Now we get a whole series....thnx Netflix Anyway, jetlag what jetlag who, I dived in straight away and I gotta say, I'm not feeling it 😐 more like flat. The cinematography and FL wardrobe is fantastic, other than that, nothing really. Ofc I only watched 3 ep. So I'm contemplating whether to stop now. It's a shame cause I love the FL and can't wait to see her in Moving 2 (btw there is drama behind the Moving drama 😏 , sigh, story for another day)
Why do I feel like I'm going through the "Never meet your idol" moment with this season 2. Is it a mistake watching this 🤔🤔🤔 I was excited and damn happy when it started and the first case, afterall the structure and sequence had the S1 charm but somehow I don't know why it has become a story about some politics hijinks which I don't care about at all hence my disappointment. I feel like the charm of S1 was in the case by case plot with equally charming characters. And here now we have politics with seemingly charming characters 🙄 My issue is they talk a lot about female oppression etc which by the way nailed it in the first case and yet when it comes to Chu Chu there is contradiction. For instance, it appears Chu Chu's role as a coroner is being suppressed etc (bad way of showing it) and yet she has freedom of everything else. As far as I know during this period every woman of high status had female maids everywhere who goes everywhere with her and yet CC has none. She is free to roam around the market with some 2nd prince who is also her student. That wouldn't be the case though would it. So I'm here thinking drama pick your point and stick it through and make it make sense. That whole monk case would still be understandable to remove CC as the coroner due to the mere fact that it involve another state without even making it just that she is a woman. So removing those vultures who are gunning for her downfall would equally face the same apprehension. And here it's more about CC being the wife of XJY who is also a coroner more than just being a woman coroner. P.S. My opinion

It just made me realised how deprived I was of this drama. When ChuChu was doing that POV narration, she mentioned 3 years of marriage bliss and I'm like..."I was deprived of seeing your marriage bliss 😭😭"🤣🤣 Anyway, I have not been a fan of Season 2s when it comes to Chinese dramas and I tend to avoid them, mostly because I wanna live in a bubble or fantasy and preserve the love I have for the first story. So I rarely watch season 2s....well I have tried. I thought I would try this one and I'm pleasantly surprised. For one, the drama has stayed true to itself. Yes, you can say the budget is better now due to a much sharper cinematography and some little accessory additions but that's more or less it really and I Iove it. If you ask me why I dropped Under the Skin 2 despite my eternal love for the first season is the changes were too jarring for me. We went from seeing a down to earth production to everything yellow and a one ML living in some penthouse which looked like a showhome. So yeah it wasn't what I expected. Whereas here it feels like we are just continuing where we left off naturally (oh 3 years later) and the nation is more prosperous....the flow is flowing.
So I feel like this drama owes me...I don't know, just a feeling. Anyway, finished it, got a t-shirt and the spell is broken. So let's talk about what went wrong apart from everything else that went wrong. 1) Failed to copy Here is the thing, I always think that if you're gonna do a remake, either include your own little spice that's gonna make it unique and likeable or make it better or just copy everything. And really, I was not expecting much than a carbon copy and alas from ep. 22 this drama lost me with such a cringeworthy plot. Like what was that 🤔 2) Forced Chemistry- One of the selling point for short dramas should be Chemistry...I mean we are all still talking about "Maid's revenge" till this day because of the mad Chemistry btwn the leads, right. Here, it felt forced and partly due to kinda bad acting but also lack of nuance to a character and horrible kissing scenes...like geez I suffered on the latter. Did these people watch WWWMSK cause if they did, I wouldn't see this. Anywho, I wasted my time which is okay cause at least I got to see that gorgeous try-on wedding gown (I would marry myself if I had that). Btw why blur or avoid focus on those rings unless there also knock-offs like the rest of the story 😎hehe
So tell me why oh why I went through 22 eps. of pure whiplash and some torture over this WWWMSK knock off....Like if this is not witchcraft, I don't know what is 🤣 I feel like I'm under hypnosis watching this 😂 Okay seriously though, ep. 22 makes me feel dizzy cause everything Meili said doesn't make any sense. My whole family were concerned that something had happened to me that I had to sit them down and told them his story. It's one of those moments that makes you question humanity.
