So this drama is literally shaping men to be the ultimate scumbags (ofc except very few) and women to be either blind followers, impressionable, stupid or very unfortunate (again except for a few)....😏🤔🤨 right
I mean with a society like this, who needs the devil.

Three crying points 1) when Grandpa pleaded for his grandson to be pardoned...I like cried. Ofc they are forgiven cause those monsters got it coming. 2) when the old man died, like my heart dropped. Old man fought the battle and I was grasping the end of my sit. Old man, you're my hero. RIP 3) Pei yi pleading for HJ to remember something. Gosh I felt for her...her desperation, hurt was so raw that 😢. Those people who said Bai Lu can't act, well you have not watched recent eps.
Another thing I love about this drama is the main case is not interfering with the other short cases happening and that I appericiate.
Gotta give XHJ's papa some brownie points for giving up getting in the way of these two. Let's fate take it's cause...shall we.

The scene with Wan-ah denying to acknowledge her son in order to protect her literally made me cry a bucket 😭😭😭 That was so heartbreaking 💔

WXY's face and charisma needs to be studied. Like in these dramas, I completely forget his age. It's when I see his real life interview etc, that's when it dawns on me that he is just a baby. This boy has a very bright future ahead of him.

First 2026 period drama I actually like....Bravo Unveil Jadewind. See I'm not hard to please. It's like palace intrigues done right. I just love how the stories are circling around the palace or anyone related to it.
Talk of which...With an Emperor like that, nowonder women are doomed. Really, I feel for that lady who got taken in the name of favour 🤮 favour my a**. So he just sleeps with her once maybe twice and he already loses interest...so why oh why did you take someone's child who was minding her own business playing her instrument. That moment when she challenged him, is what tickled him...but sir, a woman is also human not something to scratch your itch...tsk tsk
If that lady went on to fall in love and get pregnant by someone else, well, she is forgiven .

Cause from where I stand, there consistency and coherence in the presentation. The cause are easy to follow and understand. Hranted it's not the best but very palatable. Oh and I would say this about the story regardless of whethet Bai Lu is in it or not.

Yeah, the story is actually good right. Nowadays I'm in the phase of no amount of traffic star actors will make me watch a drama unless the story is good. So so far, I'm hooked. Hope I'm not jinxing it.

So let me get this straight...Women in this era were seen as objects, some slaves, child bearers, no brain, inferior, ofc unless you're royalty. And you would think that's it...no no nope, these men were not satisfied with that...they resort to traffic them, treat them like animals, assault them, etc...Like what kind of beast thinks this way.
All these so called rotten officials needs to skip interrogation and go straight to torture cause no words. I would torture them the exact same way they did these women and castrate them all 🤬😠😡
My heart breaks a million times for each and every one of these women who got captured 💔
Btw, I started this drama out of boredom and now I'm addicted.

Well on top of insecurity, he also have low self esteem. I clocked it when he made that statement in the car that triggered me 🤣. His insightful Mr Know it All persona, threw me off for a bit in this ep. I clocked it again. He has either low self esteem or inferiority complex or both🤔 Either way he needs to figure himself out cause TYY deserve someone who confidently stands beside not behind her.
