And that's why I got confused by him in the ending scene...I mean the way he tensed up and got fidgety whilst his eyes were searching Pran's for something.....Who would think, Pat has no clue Pran likes him or he likes Pran...sigh But like someone pointed out...it's not like he is clueless but the whole idea seems impossible to him hence all the feelings are being repressed.

Pran's eyes left a mark in my heart too... His delivery in that scene is legendary and I've never been attuned to someone's emotions the way I did. No words were said only the eyes said it all to be said. It's true what they say, The eyes are the window to the soul. Yeah, Ink is that girl that you can't hate even if you wish to...because she is lovely and pretty. Definitely, a fangal I would welcome to guide our blind Pat to Pran. I usually don't watch too hyped up dramas because of fear of disappointment but with this drama I fell into the trap. Okay, so the cinematography is stunning, like wow. 2) Everyone is beautiful like so gorgeous everywhere I look. And that's it, for me really... The story unfortunately doesn't pull me in, it's too generic and not novel. The acting is within expectations and dare I say SHK's character and acting reminds me of Encounter. Actually the whole esthetic of this drama reminds me of Encounter. I enjoyed Encounter very much because even though the story is not new it was grounded and told in a way that was relatable. Sadly I can't say the same for this drama...A phrase that comes to mind to describe it would be "too much but nothing much". The directing was a bit choppy at the start but got better. I feel like this is one of those drama genres that's either for you or not. Plus, if you're a fan of the actors, that could help too. That's just my opinion and I'm curious about others opinion.

Its like people were saying, oh this message happened this time therefore it explains his behaviour and how he treated this 3rd person etc...is it an experiment where we look for cause and effect?? Humans are more complex than that My point is we don't know the full story. No No and NO! KSH and SYJ story are not the same (Never said that) but one could argue that they are private (well a text message is). Who is to say that SYJ then boyfriend depression started when he entered a relationship with her or from a text message?? We don't know. So as much as we can have oppinions, personal feelings and judgements on these matters, we don't have a right to crucify someone for something we don't have a full account on. I also have personal opinions on SYJ and KSH scandals but I am not letting it overshadow my logic and understanding of the individual. I fully support them as actors and hope to see them back. P.S. So I left HCC to finish airing so I can binge watch and now before I do...I'm seeing all kinds of stories on Du Shik, I mean KSH...hehe Nope, that will not affect me at all, I will still binge it one day. Honestly, I'm one of those people who tries to seperate art and real life because I believe people behind the screen are humans too with real life experiences etc. So I hope KSH comes back as he is a really good actor. Now, what's bothering me is the Knets Double Standard. When Seo Ye Ji had a scandal few months ago, I don't recall having this kind of positive response or even this support. Instead she was bashed left right and center with no room for her to explain or to be understood. But here, KSH is getting all the support and who knows, he will be back very soon to dramaland and will still be loved. I'm not saying the latter shouldn't and neither am I saying what they did/didnāt do is equal...all I am saying is there should be a fair treatment. These people are humans, things happen in their personal lives and we so happen to know...we don't really have right to crucify them. I am even tempted to say maybe there is a gender bias in SKorea or fans etc. Anywho, I reall hope that KSH and SYJ comes back stronger and better as they are really incredible actors. P.S. My opinion

Don't worry, I dislike both SML and SFL equally...hehe What I don't like about SML (just like many other SML in dramas) is he is packaged as the one who is everything that the ML supposedly isn't...And the irony is, that's also a negative. His too much caring, kindness and unwarranted acts of service are burdensome. Here Mo Zi Xin serves no purpose other than to cater to FL which makes his character bland, unnecessary and less authentic. Besides serving our Leads what do we know about the S-leads = nothing. It's high time writers learn that putting 2nd leads with a sole purpose to interfere with the leads is not enough and very annoying. Since SML lacks depth to his character I see him as just nothing but an obsessed person to FL.
WOW JIRISAN surely knows how to deliver and why did I even doubt it (well I guess I have learned never to have high expectations the hard way, huh) Now call me crazy but somehow I thought this drama will be exactly it...drama with a bit of slice of life hence slow paced and exploring the lives of park rangers blah blah..Oh My, How Wrong Was I...LoL Jirisan promises thriller, mystery and fast paced story with stellar cast and cinematography. Talk of the latter, I nearly packed my bags and book a flight to Jirisan...whoever did that camerawork and edit is genious. What I love love the most is this drama does what is less (dare to say mever) done by using the bottom up approach...like it gives you the taster then goes straight the middle/end then now reverse to the beginning which immediately piques the viewer's curiosity on the story behind and that's clever, well genious even....It's like at the end of the ep. I only have one question ....WTF happened to get to our Leads??? And now my brain is in overdrive...trying to come up with answers (well my detective brain has actually taken me places in kdramas before) and yet I can have so many theories and one could be right but certainly it will be told in a way I never imagined before. Well...Buckle Up because we are in for a RIDE IN JIRISAN.
P.S. Reading the comments here I got confused about the signal thing....Yes, this drama has signal (as in those wood signs) as one part of the mystery but this DRAMA AIN'T SIGNAL (as in the other drama).

Right! I'm not feeling the main leads characters as well. The FL character like you said, is a bit cocky and over the top. I've only watched 1st ep. and many times I wanted to scream, "gal stop". Instead of me admiring her good memory, I'm actually annoyed now since she brings it up every chance she gets= eye roll. I really don't know ML but I'm already not a fan of his acting from the little I saw. If it's a remake of a kdrama then ML definitely has a vendetta against FL character'family. Plus I think the kdrama version had a more nuanced FL character who had a bit more depth. But then again, this is just 1st ep. I'm judging this on.
I'm here to find out if it's worth watching...I've watched the 1st ep and I have mixed feelings. Not a fan of both main leads (though I think FL is doing a good job so far here) but I like the storyline hence why I'm deliberating. I heard that it's a remake of the kdrama Prosecutor Princess, is it??? If it is then what exactly are they filling into 42 ep. sinxe the OG had only 16ep. But if not then, yeah well. I've no clue who the ML is and his acting plus character is rubbing me off the wrong way. In ep 1, I felt like he was over acting, so we will see.
I have developed a certain habit where I look at the drama's ep count first before anything else, then read the summary. The ep. count is enough to deter me from watching these days. I feel like gone are the days where we would have those long dramas but so engaging frim start to finish or is it just me. Anywho, I will check this one out...it's 24 ep. after all.

Aww, thanks for clarification. And I do agree to your now comment to an extent however, I can say for myself that BL story in this drama is super interesting. I think what made it more significant is that the characters are likeable and given the short screen time, they managed to pull of a nuanced love story and that to me speaks volume of their acting. In a nutshell this is a couple I didn't expect to find, like, and now love. The other couples, I expected them to be there and I also love them. It's just that Mark and Ou Wen stole my heart...hehe I'm such a simple person...I go by Love who you Love mantra.

Oh you forgot the childhood connection between ML and FL....That's the trope that killed it for me. I was also intrigued by the Go game concept since it's refreshing; actually different from the online gaming dramas we have been bombarded with. And I was ready to learn more about Go and it's intricacies.... But I feel that the game part feels exaggerated and might become a side plot to the romance.
Aaah because somewhere in the middle the plot will start to lose sense, there will be too much dragging, unnecessary angst, a lot of fillers as usual. So I want to save myself the headache. I've watched up to ep. 5 and it's good so far hence the dilemma.
