The story gives me Story of Minglan vibes. Not that it's a bad thing because I enjoyed Minglan very much and I think I will this one too since it has only 46 ep. (what was I thinking to finish 70+ ep. of Minglan) I always enjoy Wallace Chung acting and noticed how he tend to stick to a character that only has one wife and no harem/concubines in his period dramas. Well General and I he was like that and it appears he is like that too in this one. It saves me a lot of headache as those women can be very bitchy. Seven Tan never disappoints so nothing much other than to sit and enjoy her spectacular performance as always. The one I'm curious about is Daddi Tang and his character. I would love to hate his character if he is a villain and also thrilled at his performance as an actor...well if he does well. He is a good actor but whether he can pull off a serious or villain role is yet to be seen.
I'm still in shook that Yan Jing aka Glasses guy from The Ultimate note (Lost tomb series) is Liu Yu Ning who sang the Ending song "I'm in Love" in this drama... Like what!!!!....He has an incredible voice and yet when I think of how quirky and funny he was in TUN it doesn't feel like the same person...hehe What a talent he has... On another note, this is the first time I have love the 2nd leads the same as the 1st (maybe a little more actually). The chemistry between Ai Jing and Shen Zhe is out of this world. They crack me up one sec and make me swoon the next.
Is this drama worth watching, anyone? I mean that's 68ep. here and wouldn't want to start something that I will get bored, frustrated or disappointed in.
I seriously have a Love Hate relationship with this drama. The more I keep saying, I'm not watching anymore, I keep moving on to the next ep. Nomatter, how cringey, stupid it gets many times, I still keep watching..hehe I have to give credit to George Hu whom I absolutely love...(he is really hot and good in his role) and I think is the reason why I keep coming back. As annoying as the other characters are, one who isn't annoying in her acting per se but I absolutely dislike is Wan Ting. I honestly don't like girl like her at all. She fell in love with Mai Da Qi then find out that he likes Yu Xin and still tried to force her love down his throat. When MDQ and YX starts dating, she still lingers around, prying into their relationship despite saying she won't do anything to jeopardise her relationship with her supposed sister. And now she is onto something for MDQ...Hmmm I smell nothing but a sly girl.
Watched up to ep. 5 and so far it's good. I just feel like, I would be enjoying it more had I not known GGS1 because whenever I'm watching this, it's like I'm looking for that It Factor that Series 1 had and still yet to find it. Nonetheless, I'm well aware that perhaps it would've been impossible to have Season 2 if not for the success of the first, so I should appreciate that at least, right??? But it doesn't help that certain characters still take me in reverie of GGS1...yeah, you 97 and One...they are still as cute as ever. Then some characters, I'm confused about...yeah Grunt. Right now, Grunt doesn't seem like the one I so loved in Series1 and no, it's not the actor change, it's character. I have no problem with Wang An Yu but I'm on the fence with his character Grunt. Somehow, he feels a bit disconnected to the one in Season 1 but we shall see. Also I grew to love the actor playing Solo in Season 1 and don't care about this one yet. Tbh, these are my little pet peeves, otherwise the drama is interesting enough. P.S. Are they really sure Ai Jing is older than Ai Ching??hehe
Hands down the BEST K-BL mini series I have watched so far. Kang Seo Joon and Han Ji woo stole my heart. One an extrovert and another is an introvert and yet they just fit so perfectly together. I love how Seo Joon understand Jiwoo without the latter needing to say anything at all. Now that's real love there. And yes, my instinct was right all along, Ji Woo has been in love before and something happened that perhaps made him be too closed off. OH and OMG guess what... There is an actual Kiss...yeah, I'm still happily shocked. If you have been watching these K-BL mini series, you will understand my reaction to the kiss. I'm still pi***d off by that Restaurant guy...like WTH. So much for being a friend.
Omg it's HERE! And I'm so excited and so far a little confused after ep 1. I had to do a double take to see if I was watching ep 1 because it felt like I'm on ep 20 in a good way...hehe So can someone help explain to me the timeline between this series and the previous. Is there a link? Here it feels like DT and Appledog are meeting for the first time so have we gone back in time? That will make the events in this to have happened before events in the first series right? If so, how are they going to connect it to Tong Nian? Also I heard that Tong Nian and Han Shang Nian might make a cameo and a possibility of a wedding so how would that fit into this?
So many questions...hehe As much as I already miss Grunt and yeah I'm not super into changing actors, I will remain open minded for Wang An Yu's sake whom I love.
A Love Story that Broke My tiny Heart into a million pieces. Whenever I feel down, I revisit a watch this drama to first get a good laugh plus swoon, to then be reminded of reality then get depressed again.
Has anyone found an MV of the leads on YouTube? If yes, can you please tell me the link. I'm tired of fast forwarding everything else in this drama except for the leads interaction so I think a compilation of their scenes together on YouTube might be a better watch for me. But I haven't found any so far.
I read somewhere that Phupha is actually gay in the novel so I don't think he had a crush on her. I hope they…
Oh right, thanks. Tbh, that's the vibe I got from him. And when it comes to Torfun, it seems like he cared for her and also amused by how she tried to hide her crush on him. I didn't get the romantic vibe. Whereas, when he meet Tian, there is something like that tension of attraction.
Do you want to place any bets on who killed Torfun?
Ooh I like this, Yes Please! I would say it's between Tian's dad or friend he was with at the club. Dad, maybe because he was rushing to get to him when he collapsed. Friend, because he was maybe drunk driving. Wait...hang on.. Omg, why am I scared to even think it might be Tian... Okay, I will place my final bet in a minute. You?

Girls like her are dangerous.

The first one is the deer in the headlights one but it seems the coming one is decent.

I like your imagination a lot.
Tbh anything but that ending is welcome.

GAO SHI DE, wow
I'm literally speechless.
What an incredible performance.
