When it comes to Thai dramas, I'm very picky... There can be draggy, long for nothing or pointless storyline but this one.... Oh my, what a joy... They did what many dramas should learn form.... Keep the story short, to the point and don't lose momentum. The main leads were just beautiful to watch, chemistry was amazing. Bad guys were bad and some not so bad after all guys. Would definitely rewatch this one...
Turns out he is and that's when the female lead will start fall in love with him when she goes to his nation....sigh I would have preferred for her to love him sincerely, slave and all and not be blinded by status. So year, this drama is not for me.
I tried and failed to like this drama... What I can't stand the most in this, is the depiction of the main female lead's love towards the 2 male leads. She likes Mule but doesn't entertain the idea of loving him because he is a slave. She loves ZL and can see herself with him because he is a noble/officer. Yeah both guys are good to her but the way love is being portrayed is just tainted for me. The way she treats Mule when he was a slave, wow. Definitely won't be the same when she finds out he is a Prince. Don't get me started with that Infanta girl... Sigh
Um, I don't know, if we're watching the same series. I think you mix Ever Night up with Ashes of Love or any other…
I agree about this drama being very well produced, acted and directed. It might not be the best but it's certainly my one of the best in 2018. It has an equal balance of comedy, action and a touch of melodrama, an amazing storyline and acting. The narration is not boring at all but actually aids your understanding. Oh well, maybe I just fell in love with the drama therefore my love goggles don't see any faults atm.
Thanks for the infor. I really do like the actress that will play MSS and I see from the clips that her character is not mean. We just don't want our SS's fragile heart to get hurt or too much focus on love trial as I really like the main story; cultivation and Tang Empire esp the Princess.
I also watched without sub so I didn't understand the dialogue but NQ's actions. Yeah it's the part when LQ arrive and he is having a drinking competition with the general. What's funny is NQ brings in SS for the food and to see LQ. SS drinks more than them that she could easily beat them.
Let's hope not. I skimmed read the novel because it was too long but I liked it's happy ending. DRAMA gods should not mess this one and just let it follow the novel. And my heart will be content :)
Thanks, I watched this clip a thousand times and still had no clue what was said, sigh;poor me. So if it what happens then I'm going to be hurt for my SS as it seems her whole life only depends on her Shaowye atm. I just wouldn't want NQ to crawl back into her life because she gets ill, her secret is out and now she needs his help. Because I wouldn't like his character very much.
Has anyone watched ep 17-18 yet because I laughed so hard on this particular scene. Let's just say NQ's I don't care attitude towards the Tang royal cracks me up each time.
