A'Sun did all that out of his own free will. She never once exploit his affection for her. She doesn't even know…
I agree with you! I was initially so upset with ChangGe's attitude towards Sun but then realized she never asked for his help! A'Sun took it upon himself to always save her. Yes...she is grateful for his help but she always has a goal in mind and nothing will deter her. But I still love the fact that A'Sun can't tolerate anything happening to her...he's such a great guy!
Chang Ge is 4-5 years younger than Sun. She doesn't have half his experience, in anything. She just started her…
OMG! That ep when her head plopped onto Sun and Sun thought she was coming on to him..lol...Instead it was because she was feeling the effects of having her 1st menstrual cycle and was bleeding. To his credit, he knew immediately what was wrong with her. I want a man like A'Sun!
People tend to be sympathetic towards A'Sun because he openly shows his intentions through his actions unlike…
ChangGe has no time for romance. In the beginning she had one goal and that was to seek revenge against her uncle by getting help. A'Sun fell for her much earlier because he was enamored by her feistiness and bravery. He's lovestruck whereas ChangGe just sees him as someone who always shows up wherever she is...whether saving her butt or hanging out with her. He knew her identity way before she knew his. Even though he is in love, he is still the invading enemy to her country. But I know it will slowly change and romance will creep in...I just haven't gotten to that part yet.
After ep 25, the FL needs some growing up now, she is so stubborn but she needs to be saved all the time in order…
I'm so frustrated with her too. Ashile Sun has saved her butt so many times and she is so unappreciative. But when you really think about it, GhangGe never asks for Sun to save her. He treats her like she is a damsel in distress in need of his protection. But she doesn't want to be protected or saved by him - she is so independent and thinks of herself as a warrior. She always seems to come up with something to save herself if Sun isn't there. She also has her own agenda to stick to and she isn't going to let anyone interfere with her goals. Had Sun not saved her during those other times, we don't know whether ChangGe would have been able to save herself but she seems to think she is capable of saving herself. And Rosy Zhao as Leyan...cries at the drop of the hat - but that's due to her sheltered upbringing and ChangGe & the others always protecting her. Her time with the regular people have really opened up her eyes as to how they are living and how much her people are suffering. The many missed opportunities in finding Leyan is ridiculous and laughable! So far I'm caught up to the drama and waiting on more subbed eps. Hate the waiting though!
Just finished this over the weekend and can I please say: MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! I think this story should have been called the "Father of the Blessed Girl" because it focused more on Huo Tu Xin than Ling Long & Yuan Yi. They were more like the supporting characters. The last several eps were so boring that I actually started to nod off. The story made no sense at all. I hated Wei Sheng Yan & Yin Zhuang. I hated Wei Sheng Yan because he had no redeeming qualities except for his obsessed love for Yin Zhuang. I hated Yin Zhuang for her pathetic self-sacrificing character and the constant long-suffering forlorn look on her face. She could have prevented all the tragedies that befell the people around her had she allowed Wei Sheng Yan to be killed off from the get-go. It absolutely made no sense for her to carry out her marriage to this man only to turn around on the wedding day to say how much she hated him. Duh..so your revenge for the death of your beloved brother was to make Wei Sheng Yan kill you so he could live with the guilt of killing the one person he loved? How frigging stupid! Had you allowed him to be killed in the beginning then your brother would be still alive, the one you loved (Huo Tu Xin) would still have lived along with all the others that were killed due to Wei Shen Yan. This made no sense at all! I was so pissed off. Yin Zhuang was such a powerful character and she could have done so much good things but her mindset for her revenge was the dumbest ever. The whole story revolving Ling Long was dumb too. They never explained any of the mysteries in this drama. And the ending was just as anticlimactic. So her father sacrifices himself to save Ling Long and is reunited with his wife. You know...from the get-go I was thinking that Ling Long would be saved by her mom at the end but instead we see a petrified figure of her mom laying on the inferno grounds where she died. So where did these creatures come from? Did we get any answers? The romance between Ling Long & Yuan Yi was super boring. Lin Yi played this weak ass emperor and all he did was follow Ling Long around. The person I felt the most sorry for was Wu Yuan! She was another self-sacrificing figure who presented herself as tough and cold on the outside but she was really a caring soft person on the inside. Why she fell for Huo Tu Xin, I have no idea. Besides his devotion to Ling Long, he wasn't a particularly boyfriend material - for a guy that had a child with a woman, he acted like he was a total virgin. In fact he had 2 women in love with him: Yin Zhuang & Wu Yuan and I'm still scratching my head over why. But I did like the fact that at the end, Wu Yuan commented that she and Li Sha (whose body is inhabited by Yin Zhuang) can still carry on without Huo Tu Xin (meaning they don't need a man..lol). And WTF happened to Wei Sheng Yan? He goes out of control and releases the spawns and he disappears? Don't tell me there will be a Blessed Girl 2? Because this drama was so disappointing to me.
When will Alen Fang ever star in a drama where he gets the girl? The only one I've seen so far was in Love by Hypnotic. He's so hot but never gets the girl...lol...
People complaining about slow romance. The OST literally gives it to you.'Heart GRADUALLY responds''Gradually wakes…
Chang Ge is so focused on her revenge that she doesn't have time for romance even though Sun has caught her eyes due to the many times he has saved her! Sun is more smitten with Chang Ge because of her bravado and fearlessness and even more so after he found out "he" is a she. He's never encountered a female that is so fearless, smart, courageous...his female warrior! That's why the romance is slow because of their different present goals. And Sun doesn't have time for romance either but his heart is already lost to Chang Ge. I love the slow buildup and seeing where it takes them.
