Well,Lu quing is a jerk right now,he is a confusing character, sometimes he act like a green flag and sometimes like a jerk. Later, his actions get more questionable.

Try watching double helix, edge of the horizon, revenged love,kill to love. These are recent ones

His character won't change much though unless they change the novel, towards the ending he made his own brother penniless and gave financial setbacks to Lu quing. That's all,and the Lu quing followed fanfan from one city to another and does some very questionable things to make sure fanfan ends up with him.That's all.

Me too,his father is actually very awful,so is his brother. His mother is somewhat ok I guess,at least one can understand her reasons for being cruel sometimes. But fanfan's in-laws are not great

You are going to hate Lu quing sometimes and like him sometimes,man will have a love hate relationship with us audience. And for fanfan,this guy almost always stays the same until one time he figures out something called a spine and attached it to his own body,he divorced the girl by going against everyone,made his own brother penniless,and also financially harmed Lu quing to make sure Lu quing never forgets him. Lu quing does very questionable things to make sure fanfan ends up with him,for example buying him again from his parents, showing his own parents that they had sex because his sister was considering giving fanfan a chance. Lu quing will run after fanfan from one city to another.

I think so too,Lu quing might have thought fanfan is using him or his friends words got to him which made him think fanfan isn't that good for his heart so he tried dating his white moonlight again 😒.

It was so funny when Lu quing's friend asks Lu quing to kill fanfan,and that man ended up proposing marriage to him😂. Man does become quite restless towards the ending. Also I loved it how fanfan made his annoying brother penniless.

Fanfan's character doesn't develop that much,but he does take stand for himself later and take a bit of revenge by making his own brother penniless and causing the top some huge financial setbacks too, the newspapers he read came handy later on.

And yeah,the top was a total fickle jerk at the starting and the bottom wasn't,fanfan will also somewhat date a girl after he divorced that girl. Lu quing then goes and break up with the ex because he realises he loves fanfan😑. Also I think he dated that guy because his friends words got to him and he thought fanfan wasn't that good or he was angry at fanfan. The rice thingy did cause him some financial setbacks.

Throughout the novel,he kept changing his flag from green to yellow to green. But,he is jerk and I stand by that thought.

His spine somewhat starts taking shape in the later parts of the novel,I would say towards the ending. But the series is fast paced.Whatever they showed today happened in the middle of the novel I think. Hopefully they will prioritize fanfan's new grown spine rather than the lengthy family drama the novel has.

I would like that too and I hope they show that,but I don't think that's possible according to the novel. Fanfan and Lu quing's charactes aren't designed that way. They do love each other and in the later parts,for some reason I felt like it was Lu quing who loved fanfan more,fanfan basically chose him cause he felt good??

He is definitely not a green flag that's for sure,but he always does help fanfan. But what's the point if you are fickle, hopefully they won't show that tragic incident

I am not watching this drama,but from the reels I know that they are actors,so who is the therapist? Or are people too invested in the drama they are playing inside the drama? 😭

I am just gritting my teeth and waiting for fanfan's revenge arc,and creators better make it longer than the novel.

The ge word is actually making me so frustrated,just from him stopping his use of this word will make the series climb three steps.

He is the one who will later suggest Lu quing to kill fanfan 🙂

In the novel,he will again start dating the guy. Maybe his friends words got to him and he also thinks fanfan isn't that great,or he is just angry cause fanfan does ask a lot of favours for his family from him,and the rice thingy actually caused him some financial setbacks too.
Basically he is a jerk,he will soon turn over a new leaf.

He is jerk around this time of the novel,in the novel,he will actually start dating the guy now,I am not clear why though probably because of his nostalgia,or his friends words got to him. His character is kinda complex.

And this part happened in the middle of the novel,looks like they will give fanfan's revenge arc more limelight unlike the novel.
