It was a ok watch,I finished it in one sitting.i found the relationship between the female lead and Zhang jun really cute,but wth was the ending. I probably won't rewatch it ever again.

That was his character, the novel is even more frustrating,at least you chan on the series showed different range of emotions. I didn't find his acting bad,and Lu Feng was amazing. But the second couple was infuriating.

I actually liked their first series,and for some reason their acting didn't cause me any problem over there even when I found phuwin's acting stiff sometimes. Pond on the other hand is actually a good actor. That's why I hate the fixed couple thing of Thailand. One actor can have a fixed partner and should be able to play in other bls with other actors if they want. Maybe,this way they will get more opportunities.
And I too had hard time finishing never let me go,and I wasn't even able to watch me and thee.

Well,I always watch the couple's part,so if the main person's part isn't enough,how am I supposed to like that show? And I am not capable enough to judgehim,I did like his first series,and I overlooked everything in never let me go. I didn't follow him anymore,so I don't know if he improved. And yeah, I am no acting expert,I just wanted to know if others find his acting stiff or not. Or is it just me having a problem. I did wanted to like never let me go a lot because the storyline was my type,but couldn't because I couldn't get into his acting.Well,if I came across as judgemental then that wasn't my intention.

No,some certain country's BL fandom always gives low ratings to good Chinese and Korean bls to make their favourite ones look more appealing. This BL is still a good one.

I did like the fish upon the sky,but after that I couldn't love even one of their bls,I watched never let me go too. And there,no matter how hard I tried I couldn't like it or take it seriously because of phuwin's acting. Yet,it was visible that he was trying really hard so I overlooked it. Pond's acting was good.

And me and thee I couldn't even start it. So I don't know if he improved or not.I might tune in to this for William and Est, but I do wanna like pond and phuwin too,but sadly I know I won't.

No offence,but how do you people manage phuwin's acting? Or am I in the minority?

These days almost all Chinese bls have a toxic top more or less. So this became a trend. This one's top isn't that toxic, but he isn't that good either. But in the novel,I will say he was a yellow flag.

I think he isn't deceiving the prince,man was away from his love for too long and those bottled up emotions overflowed seeing the prince and he acted impulsively. But,yeah he probably have some hidden motives too. Like since he can't reach the level of the prince,he is throwing the entire monarchy to bring the prince down to his level.

You sure have guts,their fans might come at you for saying it😂. But I have made my peace with some bls having high ratings from fans despite being not that good.
It's just so unfortunate, Gmmtv can do so much better. It has both the resources and the actors.

Preferences dear. For us,this is a good series. I, personally liked this series a lot. And I had completely given up on Thai bls,but this one won me over despite being a Thai bl.
But for some people,this good series is not good.Every time I see a person calling a good show bad,I feel so weird. Like a person literally just said to me double helix had bad acting?? Like did we even watch the same series?
Some people just watch dramas with their eyes closed or they have completely unique preferences.

Bad acting??That's impossible imo. I fell in love with the series because of the acting and chemistry of the lead couple, especially for the top's acting. Except few scenes,I loved everything. Their script wasn't that strong,but other things made up for that. This one brought me out of my BL slump,so I don't know what you are talking about.

Preference dear, we are humans,so of course we will be different. Basically I almost always fall in love with Chinese bls like revenged love,kill to love and double helix (I liked these 3 cbls only,other cbls weren't for me). For me these 3 were amazing. And Thai bls almost never impress me.

It's kinda sad seeing such people who are so desperate for some kind of attention,makes one wonder what kind of life they are actually living.

He does gives off that feeling,but I guess cause it's a BL, especially a Chinese one, many of us are willingly ignoring that. I personally avoid damsel in distress troupes like a plague in both BL and BG,but i watched the 3 EPS,and read the novel.I am still neutral about it.

I was in a BL slump too,but double helix opened the flood gate. But I can only watch Chinese bls currently. So,I was really surprised when this BL came out and I actually liked it. Like it's been forever since I actually liked a Thai BL

Which part of my comment made you think I don't like intense bls with NC scenes? I can watch a BL with or without NC scenes just fine. So chill and touch some grass 😑.
A person can like or dislike a series, it's a public thing,and currently I am neutral about Bittersweet love.But I don't think I am jobless enough to attack someone even if they say my favourite show is trash.
