This is a good life-story disguised as a piece of fluff.
It goes to the early life choices we make and how they can create a good foundation for a solid life, or a shaky one with an uncertain future. It's that proverbial fork in the road. Sometimes, we are fortunate to get a fresh start ... do over... but life is never like a CDrama #rebirth, and good second chances are difficult to come by. So be smart, choose well, try and surround oneself with good role models and friends. The adage of "we are the company we keep" came about for a reason.
I thought the FL Wen Qing was cute as a button and that her looks and character has stuck with me to the degree that I finally decided to figure out who she is. Bingo! The ML Lu Shan Dong was nicely stoic and fit the role well. [Actor info was not in the drama description.]
I consider watching this as Time Well Spent. I'd even watch it again.

Boy, am I disappointed to read this MDL page and learn otherwise. Lee Dong Wook isn't an actor to whom I gravitate so it’s disappointing that he is the romantic ML.

For the CShort actors that I particularly like (yes, I do like some actresses but I'm looking for and at well-developed six-packs and pecs 😁), I make custom-tile shortcuts on my phone homepage.
The pics I use for the greater percentage of the tiles, in no manner resemble the actor's MDL profile pic. Even Wang Yi Lei (who is known as "My#1Boyfriend" on the reddit sub), his profile pic is nice but it doesn't really resemble him much based on how he looks in 2024 and 2025.
I can only think of three, maybe four guys whose profile pics are decent enough but even then, really do not do the actor justice.
Another poor pic is for Zhao Ting Yi. He happens to be on the "MyOtherBoyfriend's" list. The list is growing 😆.

Some of these male actors are actually good-looking but one would never figure it out by looking at their profile pic! I'm always lamenting this to the Mods on the CShort sub. Wang Yi Ran is unrecognizable. Chen Si's pic is downright scary. Liu Xiao Xu's pic looks like he was at the Civil Affairs Bureau under duress. I can go on and on.

All I know, is the drama that was linked here, was the same as the one I saw on my YT feed a few times.
