At this point, I think it’s the platform. ADWAD that’s from the same production company, is rumored to air on iQIYI even before MR that was filmed earlier. Tencent seem to have loads of dramas in stock, so it’s a bit of a ‘wait your turn on the queue’. Or has anyone seen a Tencent costume drama that wrapped after MR being aired?

The controversial one? Hopefully not. There was a melon about how he has like 3 major IP courting him and one modern pilot team from iqiyi. If this Mango drama remains controversial, can’t he pick from the other ones. Maybe I am mistaken and that’s not how it works 🤔😀

Maybe the iqiyi drama to compete with will be ADWAD but ADWAD has the same production company.
