It was never pushed back. This drama never had any rumors about release dates so that person who posted the original melon has no sources. The drama finished filming around March so most likely the release will be early next year, 1st quarter. I know international fans don’t have insight to a lot of things going on in c-ent, but don’t believe everything you read online, especially Twitter. Those people literally use Google translate and then repost false rumors.

Ummmm girl you cannot leave it at that, what is the plot twist!? Really glad to know that there’s major changes to the script because I thought the book was a 6/10 at best. If you don’t mind, can you give a few spoilers about the main couple? I’m interested in how their relationship differ from the novel. Also I’m super happy that they aged her up, the novel always bringing up her being childlike was a total yuck imo.

If you follow Chinese entertainment and is a fan of actresses, you gotta have thick skin. Cnets are notoriously misogynistic, they will blame the actress for anything if given the chance. It also doesn’t help that it’s a super competitive industry, so fans of other actresses will use this opportunity to make it worse. This has happened to ZY multiple times already and it will happen again in the future. Just take it as a sign that she’s popular and therefore will have haters. Also other actresses experience the similar things. It’s just that we’re not fans so we don’t pay close attention when it happens to other celebs.

Any rumors about her next project after RDS? Whatever it is, I just need the script to be cohesive. I feel really bad for her because some of her dramas have good potential and then script falls short. Not much she can do when the writers suck, but she deserves a drama that at least has a solid foundation.

Such a typical republican story, but I am so seated for this. Really like both actors so hopefully the script will be decent.

Give her the sci-fi role she’s always wanted. She’s literally begging at this point, it’s all she talks about whenever they interview her.

It’s a train wreck. At this point, they should just cast someone else. But really, his side made so many bad decisions, consecutively regarding this project. It’s really on them to fix it.

They are forced into a corner so now they’ll say whatever to save face. But it’s such a bad look on him especially when this project consists of more well known people in the industry. They’re going to view him as unprofessional, ungrateful, and has a crazy, out of control fandom.

They attack and then play the victim when her fans fight back. Then they blame the company, as if they’re forcing him to take on a role in a ZXL production. I know so many up and coming actors who would kill for a chance at this role.

His fans should start behaving and not embarrass him any further. This is a legit project and billing position shouldn’t be used to create drama and negative attention to the crew and ZY. He seems like a decent actor and was classmates with ZY, so hopefully everything moving forward after the announcement will be smooth.

Maybe we’ll see it this year. This is probably one of the quickest ZY drama to air.

The beginning is definitely the weak part of the drama. If they set it up better, the storyline would be so much more cohesive. But the drama is still entertaining nonetheless.

Not the two trolls commenting and responding to each other. For a drama that they don’t like and don’t find interesting.

This drama also combined short drama storytelling into a long drama which is a pain point for a lot of people especially drama reviewers.

It’s such a simple message yet it goes over some people’s head.
