The chemistry is INSANE, & their visuals is just icing on the cake. I absolutely love MiaoJing & ChenYi. They are both each other's light & comfort. I cried at the end ngl. Who do I have to beg to have them together on a 2nd series?
So underated for such an enjoyable show imo. I loved the whole entire 80s vibe & setting. The looks they put ZhouYe in was on point! She looked absolutely stunning in this. China's random ass censorship laws deadass trying to sabotage shows tho ngl.

Watched this cuz of my girl Becbec thinking I'll laugh the whole movie (I went in blind having avoided all info & spoilers). I did not expect this to hit too close to home, like fr I know too well what Namo went through. It's such good movie & I really love the ending.

I've read a few discouraging comments which made me hesitant to start the show but I'm glad that I just went with it. I found the dynamic between the leads refreshing & I really like the fl with how flawed she was & how she grew. I like that her guardedness & insecurities weren't just fixed overnight but that she was struggling with it & trying throughout the show.
I miss them already.
