Ode to love and friendship

I had preconceptions when I started this drama, but in the end I loved it!
So yes, there is Chinese propaganda for cybersecurity. But that's the only negative point I found.
I fell in love with this drama. And for God Gun too ^^
I loved all the characters, their world, their universe.
I loved their love story, which started moderately (#stalker) but which had a very nice evolution. They grew up together and it was a wonder to watch that.
I liked the way they were with each other. Him with his weaknesses and his armor, and her with her unconditional love.
They were very beautiful together.
But I also liked the other characters, everyone, but especially Xiao Mi who touched me a lot in his acting and in his sensitivity. He was so masculine and manly when he had a tear of emotion or sadness. I felt like he wasn't acting!
I loved the team! This drama was an ode to love but also to friendship, brotherhood, cohesion, group spirit.
This drama made me think about several parts of my life both professionally and friendly.
It reminds us to put meaning in life, and brings faith, motivation, determination, purpose, goals in what we do. Not just breathing and surviving, but living litteraly.
Finally, I would still talk about God Gun. I liked his behavior towards her. Always correct. Sometimes a thuggish/bad boy attitude in his general life, but for me he is not a rogue, he is just someone raw who doesn't care aboutstandards but with a gentleman's heart with her and the others.
This somewhat austere attitude that hides a sincere and loving heart, which jsut seeks to be just and good <3

Its only flaw is being too short...

This BL bewitched me. Since I saw it I can't stop thinking about their story...
At first, I didn't really know what to think, what to feel. The borders were blurred, the characters too and I had a mixture of attraction and a "je ne sais quoi" that bothered me. But the more we advanced in the story, the more I loved…
I felt a lot of emotions, I asked myself a lot of questions about the psychology of the characters, about their relationship. This drama deserved 10 episodes!
Because yes, that's its only flaw : too short, not detailed enough. I like when dramas take the time to explore the psychology of the characters and especially to show their evolution step by step. See the love grow between them, feel the transformation of their emotions.
See the characters evolving themselves. And being able to really feel what they feel by myself.
And that's the only thing missing! that they did not take the time to set up the story but above all, to detail the psychology of the characters and the evolution of their feelings between them, and the personal transformation that each experienced in contact with the other.
I liked the color of the images, the atmosphere, the energy of the drama. An adult story, complex but finely brought. A fairly "basic" drama, with nothing exceptional (no rich heirs or magicians or high social background) but love. Realism. And when true love is there, it beautifies and illuminates everything.
Their story is beautiful and full of hope.
In short, a very short little gem that I devoured !

PS: I just saw two sentences on photos "I love you not for who you are, but for who I am with you" and "I love you not because of who you are, but because of who l can be in front of you." and finally, it is true that it is something on which one can meditate…
And yes, when they are with each other, they transform and pull each other up. Each accepts the other as he really is.

Usually not my style but

This drama is a gold nugget. A total success.
Really not my kind of drama usually, I hate conspiracies, corporate dramas, chaebol and power wars.
But this one...it's really worth the detour.
Not a romance cute drama at all but on the other hand, if you like strong couples, with an unshakable love and an indestructible faith towards each other, go there.
In short, this drama is a big YES. We rejoice when he's in prison, we get angry with him about injustices, we like it when he takes the advantage, in short, I haven't seen the 16 episodes pass !
And then there are the interesting characters.

A great come back ❤️

Emotional roller coaster

I started this drama because of the story and the dance environment too.
I didn't expect to feel all the emotions of the heroine..
Two lost, lonely and sad souls who find each other and decide to save each other..
Their meeting was chaotic and full of emotional dependence.
But it boosted them up.
Until the logical imbalance of this kind of situation comes.
And the entourage did not help either.
I screamed against my screen when all these people allowed themselves to say or do things that I could not have supported myself 1/4…
How the hell dare you!? I know that in Asia, and particularly in Japan, respect for elders, family, hierarchy at work is very important.
And I also respect that. But when it's fair... because for me, in this drama, it was unfair. Whether it's her mother who allows herself to call her work, to meet her boyfriend or her boss, to cry so that her daughter keep having no life and so she can stays to take care of mommy, OMG, that's selfishness irritated me!!
The co-worker/boss who is an asshole who took advantage of her and allows himself to judge and criticize? Truly ?
(I know she was okay with that kind of relationship, but he was just sleeping with her, secretly, not tenderly, not even walking side by side in the street... and she agreed yes, she took the little care and affection one man could give to her. Thanks to her mom and her twisted education)
The infidel who loves his wife only because she can take care of the house and raise her children? LOL
In short, I hated that she got run over like that and that she apologized in addition to having caused inconvenience.. what a joke.
But what annoyed me the most was when her boyfriend, after begging her to move in with him, after having absorbed his energy to feed on it and bounce back in his professional life, abandons her by selfishness now that everything is working out for him. I had the bitter taste of betrayal at that time...
But I also liked the decisions she made afterwards. The fairest and healthiest for her.
He realized that he had been completely selfish, that he had "used" her and then carelessly dumped her once he had used her, and he realized his feelings for her.
And it was normal that she didn't go back to him right away.
Why ? Because she had to think of herself first. She stayed with her mother out of guilt over a fickle and absent father and an immature and selfish mother.
She never had a dream for her. She never thought about goal, dream, purpose, happiness.
Just being married and therefore having her happiness depend on the goodwill of another person.
So I liked the evolution of the characters, in particular that of the heroine who found herself and who finally succeeded in deconstructing the conditioning she had in which there was only thanks to a man that she could be happy.
And then I experienced so many emotions in this drama, that I would recommend it for that!

Unpredictable

This drama made me think. Usually when I look at a work, I just let myself be carried away by my emotions, my feelings. I evolve emotionally with the characters in the drama and I easily pick up the messages in the drama or at least I can get interpretations out of them. For Junichi it was different.
My opinion will join Ange's one.
This drama, either can be taken in a very simple way: it is what it is. No more and no less. The characters are who they are and do what they do for no apparent reason or motive. Sometimes there aren't necessarily reasons or messages behind people's actions. It is what it is.
Or, we have the more analyzed version of the drama and this is the one that got me thinking.
Junichi for me is a story of women. Enhanced by a man. Sublimated by a man: Shison Jun. He is the one who brings to light these stories of women, these slices of life.
There is the “before” and the “after” Junichi. I wondered sometimes if he was not a reflection of some unconscious desire of these women, a creation of their mind in the reality, something that would have taken shape from their unconscious.
Because what's amazing is that he is always there, at the right time, in the right place. I mean he adapts to each woman and their very meeting is tailored to each one.
For me this drama is a puzzle whose meaning you only fully understand when you look at the big picture with the last episode, it is this one which connects everything.
So yes, he has sex in almost every episode. Presented in a raw way often. And what is curious is that if stay in a "moral way of thinking", if you look at it from a judgmental point of view, the moments of sex are not especially "positive". I mean infidelities, sexuality to be like other girls, sexuality in a self-destructive pattern, here, no romance or fairy tale, just human stories, with their dark side too.
And that's where he comes in. When these women meet him, they are not happy. They are mostly empty of meaning, of emotions (at least positive emotions), they are lost. Completely.
And after sleeping or having a connection with him, it's like their life is changing.
As if they had found themselves again.
Junichi is exactly what they needed at this precise moment to reconnect deeply with themselves and reconnect with life.
And once he's done his mission, he leaves and disappears.
It reminds me of those lucky charm that we find and once they use their positive charm on us and accomplish their mission, they disappear.
I really saw him like that. A lucky charm, a way for them to reconnect with themselves.
My biggest question would be about him. Is he happy? Is he really happy and satisfied with this life? Does he feel he has a mission? Is he aware that he is bringing an emotional transformation to these women? Does he let himself live and drift, where his boat takes him. Does he have meaning in his life? Is he happy? Does he feel alive ?
Sex is often frowned upon in our society. Yet in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful, moving, deep and most effective way of communication. (Of course, I'm not talking about all kind of sex. Not all of them are beautiful and can even be negative or even damaging) but with the right person and the right intention, this is the most powerful form of communication. We connect to the person on all levels. Emotional, mental, physical, psychic, energetic, our souls connect. It is as if he is using this medium of communication to heal and heal the souls of these women. He traces a path to their deep being.
But who is treating him? Who acres about him ?
The last frame when he smiles because he's going back to yet another story with a woman, I just felt sadness.
In France there is a song (the theme really has nothing to do with this drama ) with those lyrics:
"You would like to feel her already in the crook of your arm. The wife of those who don't have one ”.
And that reminded me of him. In symbolism.
And then this Koji Nakamura end-of-drama music is just so powerful, melancholic, nostalgic. It shows how fragile, ephemeral this life is and at the same time, there is this little ray of sun behind this heaviness and this fog.
There is always hope in the darkness.
I don't know if he's happy, if he loves his life, if he's satisfied, and that is what bothers me the most.

A cuddly drama

That's it ! My winter 2021 blankie/comforting drama ended this weekend ?
What can I say except that it made me feel good and comforted me during its broadcast period.
A sweet, pleasant drama, with lots of very endearing and interesting characters, a gorgeous lead (See you again on February 11 for your movie baby ❤️) and a cute female lead.
Not every drama can be a blankie drama !
And this one is definitely one ❤️
And with an amazing OST (Beautiful breakup and Love Paranoia are two big crush) and an album that came out because people loved the OST! ❤️
In short, I highly recommend this sweet one!

This is ridiculous

I can continue this drama.
Seriously ? 52 episodes for a drama which can have been contained in 30 episodes ?

So he lost his memories, Chief Jo lied and convinced him that they were engaged.
Well... ok
He is definitely not in love with but for some strange loyaulty/reason, he wanted to keep the "false" promise.
And now, he is recovreing his memories, he knows that he was in love with Dan Dan, his lost his memories of the 3 monthes and still want to keep his engagement with chief Jo ?

PLEASE !!! this is ridiculous.
This drama could have been great but the scenario is definitly crappy.

Love this actor but I can't continue...

A refreshing childlike energy

I did'nt expect this at all ! I though it was "one more schoolish drama/movie" but I was so wrong.
This movie is like a breeze of fresh air..
A school film where the students look like real high school students, perfect in their imperfections..
I loved it...it's nostalgic, it's sweet, it's sparkling, it's joyful..
That is to me the perfect definition of youth.
The carelessness, the innocence, the friends, the laughter, the joke, the first emotions, the quivering heart, the complicity, falling in love, being crazy, the hard knocks sometimes, being mischievous but attentive etc..
I laughted, I smiled, I was excited for them, I got carried away by this story.
Like a summer breeze, like an strawberry ice cream on summer, like water games in the middle of summer, it tastes really sweet, sparkling and alive.
Frankly I can only recommend it to you ?

The Black Hawk Down

It was 4:00 in the morning, when I finished this drama.
I am devastated. I had been hesitating to watch it for a long time and it's a drama that I wish I had seen sooner!
He is simply great. Awesome is not the word. It grabbed me, it is addictive, ambiguous, dark and luminous at the same time. He is intense.
I've never been a particular fan of Seo In Guk but there, he blew me away. His acting is amazing. One of the best performances I've ever seen.
Whether it's when he doesn't care, when he's angry, when he's on edge, when he's in love, when he's upset, I've experienced the emotions with him...
At the begining, I've though, oh no, this guy will bring a lot of problems with him, you should'nt go there girl. I don't like this kind of trouble maker guy !
And step by step, episode after episode, I broke down all my defensive barriers and I fell for him.
Like the character of Jung So Min..
The character of his character is really fascinating.
Jung So Min is a little ray of sunshine, she is so bright, sweet and benevolent, it's always a pleasure to see her on screen. She is always touching and genuine.
I really liked tPark Sung Woong in Man to Man, and he gave a very believable performance there in this big brother who is torn.
I cried all the tears I could when the end clap came. I always felt an end that would resemble the Romeo and Juliet 's one and unfortunately I was right...
Life can sometimes be so unfair.
Shitty childhood, difficult life and end up like this...
Seo In Guk had a magnetic role. This somewhat sociopathic side of not feeling anything, which was a strength for him in a way, and the fact that he opens up to her little by little. I was touched by their tender moments when he looked at her with so much intensity and love..
His game was very strong and I think especially the moment when he returns home with the gun, desperate to find out what happened with his father or when he learns that he will not be able to live with her in view of of their situation to both.
I was so sad for them..
A slow descent into hell, sometimes with flashes of light but not enough to stem the fall.

I find you !

I just watched this drama and I'm not disappointed at all.
If I had to summerize, I would say it's an inspiring drama..
We dive into the heart of a designer's universe in a publicity box. Personnaly, I do not enjoy "compagny" dramas, but I had no problem with this one because what the Drama shares with us are the dreams, the aspirations, the hard knocks of someone who has a dream in life, a purpose and who wish to accomplish it.
With the heart and soul of an artist...
However, the female protagonist, a stortured artist who expresses her emotions through painting and graffiti, disagrees and has a different vision from him about art.
The two have opposite views on life and yet rejoice in one thing I think. The passion for what they love and drives them.
To seek oneself, to surpass oneself, to find oneself.
In short, it was frankly refreshing and nice.
Fuju Kamio is shines in this drama and he encourages us to really start our life ?

SO SAD...

It reminds me another japanese movie with Fuju Kamio... the same sensation of emptiness, sadness, loneliness at the end.
At the beginning, the movie was pretty joyful I would say, but then, when you realise their true lives, OMG, it is an expanse of dry, arid, cold land where life does not seem to be present.
I mean, maybe the more "happiest" would be whom I thought was the most "depressed" at the beginning.
They are stucked in lives they don't really like but they wouldn't change it. I don't get it.
He is the only one who has the courage of changing his life and mind.
I will not rewatch it :(

Dream of a summer night

This BL is so atypical, that you have to see it.
The first episode that I found super weird, well in fact we understand after the why and how, and suddenly, it is no longer strange but just super touching...
He will succeed in making me shed my tears I think.
In fact, it's already done.
It's a little UFO full of poetry, both unreal like a sweet summer dream and at the same time very realistic, especially in terms of the colorimetry of the images.
The more we advance, the more we discover things, the more it makes sense and the more we want to know the end.
I have Rimbaud's poem that comes to mind when I think of this drama (don't ask me why ^^) I'm putting it to you now ^^
*******
A dream for winter - Rimbaud

In the winter, we shall travel in a little pink railway carriage
With blue cushions.
We shall be comfortable. A nest of mad kisses lies in wait
In each soft corner.

You will close your eyes, so as not to see, through the glass,
The evening shadows pulling faces.
Those snarling monsters, a population
Of black devils and black wolves.

Then you'll feel your cheek scratched...
A little kiss, like a crazy spider,
Will run round your neck...

And you'll say to me : "Find it !" bending your head
- And we'll take a long time to find that creature
- Which travels a lot...

Deepness

This drama is a real hit. What a breath of fresh air...
Lately I found that a lot of BL, who have a lot of success, lack consistency. The characters are sexy, cute, sensual even. But at the level of the depth it is zero..
It's empty and linear.
And there, what a wonder. Little budget, no fancy cars or compagnies, everything happens in a house, but I loved it.
Their past, their history, their evolution, their dialogues, their thoughts on life or love.
I was touched really in the heart by certain situations, certain sentences. Some scenes reminds me some of my past love life, and I was really very touched by these two actors and the way they interpreted their roles.
I would like to see more often BLs with so much intelligent dialogues and deepness.
Emotions, and true characters... not "toy cute boy" but real guys, real lives, real emotions to share.
So thanks for that...
Did I mention the soundtrack ? pffffff reaally good !!!

A poetry full of wisdom and humanity

My god this is a masterpiece ... what a little gem.. ?
All in finesse, poetry and wisdom.
An ode to accepting who we really are. A poem on understanding the world and the human being.
So simple and complex at the same time, the rhythm is slow and deep, we are immersed in the psychology of the characters.
It also makes us sometimes question ourselves, as Japanese dramas do, about our moral and psychological limits. What is right or wrong for us.
In short, for me this drama / BL is just incredible ❤️

May I say Cried like a baby from the "hug" moment until the car leaves, OMG, it was so sad, it broke my heart...
I really do not like coward people, they almost are the worst to me. When there is true love, what else do you need ?
In was so wise giving so good and fair advice about how to understand the world but he wasn't able to accept his true nature.

And the mother, what a toxic mother ! " If you do what I say, I'm your friend, I love you and support you, if you don't do what I tell you, I freak out, I cry and I stop loving you..."
And her "do not leave me", ouch so insane :( it gave me goosebumps. And also homophobic.
In short, his behavior also explains what happened with Wang's father : she WANTED it, so she did everything to have it, even if it includes hurting people or forcing them. But she would never recognized it.
I'm so mad at her...
There is a lot to say about this drama, I asked myself a lot of questions.
I'm so sad for Wang... it broke my heart into pieces...
Surrounded by coaward and selfish people.
I really hope he will find peace and love. Soon :)

Enjoyable and incongruous !

What a surprise with this drama !
A lot of scenes where definitely epic and soooooo funny.
A lot of things need to be taken at the 3rd degree but what an enjoyable drama ^^
I spent a verrrry good moment watching it and waiting for the WTF things ahahah
It's not an amazing and deep drama but it s a perfect drama to spend a good moment and it will certainly give you a big smile.
At least, it gave me one ^^
Yes it's weird, sometimes creepy and most of the time WTF but I wish I could see more drama like this one <3
Acting was perfect, music to, the realisation etc...
A little UFO !

Edit : At first, I did'nt even though saying that it is drama, a fiction and fiction and reality are very different but with some comments, I'm going to precise it. Yes it's a drama, and as most of 90% of the dramas, it's not showing the reality ! (sorry but the dramas with kind, sexy, cute, adorable (rich most of the time) guys ,well, it's not the reality too.. and we don't need to precise it because it's obvious..) ;)
So no, this drama is not promoting stalking girls !
