Good grief that was awful and I’m glad its over

WOW, this show had me nervy until the last few episodes. I realize many people wouldn’t like a drama thats toxic for much of it, but I think it did a splendid job of tackling actual real life for once, not giving the usual boring plot line and tropes. Both of the mains pulled off an incredible drama full of passion, anger, frustration-having to deal with each others weaknesses. The lack of proper communication at times was exhausting, and I think we might have benefited from a viki style chat feature that Netflix lacks, to get us through those parts. I loved how this was wrapped in the end. Humility, acceptance of love and a willingness to try again. Forgiveness. All of that is needed multiple times in a solid marriage or relationship. It can’t last without it. Did we need to see their actual marriage, no, because we can see Luan has learnt how to meet her in the middle. Thank goodness this wasn’t the disaster ending I was expecting thanks to all the trolls on social media. What on earth was that all about hey???!!!!

If you visit Korea you will see 99% of the cars are black and white. To match their fashion sense. Black white and tan. :)

I liked it too!

I quite liked this show, and despite the other bad reviews I’m going to call this for what I think it was, a unique plot with some fun twists. Yes it gets a little predictable towards the end, and it’s lacking in some real chemistry between the leads sadly, but I did enjoy the show and didn’t feel the need to skip or put the series down for a while, which kdramas have had me doing this year. I started this while waiting for The Early Spring to finish and it was good enough to keep me hooked.

Stupid plot. Stupid writing. Bad messaging.

I didn’t get anger violence vibes not in the way someone truly dangerous is. What I saw was someone troubled by the trauma of seeing his parents screw up a relationship and so he had anxiety and he expressed it the way he did, not well.

R rated? Hardly, I wish Jdrama ratings would standardize themselves. it seems like some rando is deciding what they think a show should be based on their own level of morale. Theres some R’s that truly are then some that should be PG-13 and then others a PG. Its hilarious.

Story is pretty one dimensional but the final episode was sweet and wrapped up the conflict well. This is very typical jdrama office tension and not really very new. But its a good show to break up the usual Korean and Chinese malarkey- which is why I love these quirky shows so much!!

It got tedious snd exhausting and ending felt rushed. Optics were great and carried the show. Had great parts just not 32 ep worth.

if you want to watch a mostly high school drama with a team of kids playing football here is your show. the chemistry held potential with the leads in the beginning but they settle into such a safe solid friendship you’d be fair to say it felt like besties was going to be the deal of the day. Then they transition to married couple, without confession. like all recent cdranas waiting til the last minute for a confession, brief kidses then defaulting to hugging which gives zero new relationship vibes. This show was also too long, some of the sub plots ft like timewasting..

At times it felt great, chemistry was there, and then its just not. You’re dozing off because there’s nothing happening or it slows right down, or another tired trope rears an ugly head. Last episode took 4 watches and I still skipped the last 10 minutes.

Some dumb as all get out plots too, the writing was poor.

Chemistry saves this show, and there’s oodles of it here. However its highly skippable in parts because just unnecessary side scenes. Still its cute and worth the watch.
