This is the most viewed drama this year so far, so the rating on douban doesnt mean anything, hope this doesn't send you crying in the pillow haha. The ratings are more than justified and honestly I think it deserved 9.1 at least that's how good it is. As for the leads you are in a very small minority to say they don't have chemistry, they are one of my all time favorite couple, I guess you took on look at the actors profiles and decided they won't work and continued with this prejudice but it's fine no drama is free of haters! To each it's own for me it's the best drama this year and one that I will re-watch frequently
